Location is practical for those working near the Parliament, but not practical to catch a mean in the evening. The closest restaurants are about 10 minute walk at Manuka Oval and the selection is not the greatest. The pool and hot tub are very nice. Breakfast appears overpriced. The place can use an update, most of all the carpet throughout...

Most of the places to stay in Canberra have a habit of being ridiculous priced, but the Rydges was available for $200 a night including breakfast. How can you go wrong with that.. The hotel has a gym and pool which is heated to make you forget that you are in Canberra.. which I promptly took it for 1 night....

First visit to Canberra with the kids and Georgie who greeted us upon our arrival certainly set the bar high for our customer service expectation throughout Canberra. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is always a hit with the kids and a great place to meet new people. But not quite...

A comfortable hotel, but nothing outstanding. The pool and other facilities shut at 8pm which was disappointing. The location was convenient.

We stay here regularly and stayed here on our last visit to Canberra. It comfortable, the staff are friendly and for a whole wekend the package makes it very affordable. I like to use the gym and the buffet breakfast is good.

I stayed here 10 years ago and it needed a spruce then... the rooms are fine; the TVs are possessed and struggle to work. You need to pay for parking and the food is crazy overpriced. Its fine.... if its not expensive then the location is ok if you have a car. As I said, meh... nothing brilliant but nothing...

Well Canberra has a habit of ridiculous hotels prices during Parliament sitting, especially on budget nights. However Rydges was available for $175 per night which I promptly took it for 1 night. The room and bathroom as pretty recently renovated. Whilst I booked a 2 double bed I was hoping that they have King available, but they were all taken....

Checked in late at night after a full day of conferencing and promptly checked in with free parking, free wifi and free upgrade sorted immediately by the lovely Chris. Much appreciated after a big day. I've stayed in heaps of Canberra hotels paying much higher prices and lemme tell you, this kind of service ain't that common. Top marks. Chris...

We chose this hotel because I recently joined the rewards program when booking a stay for Sydney later this year - when we decided to take a quick overnight shopping trip to Canberra I looked to see what Canberra hotels were in the program. We could choose between this one or the QT - which we will try next time,...

Located near Manuka, the hotel is some distance from the city centre. I stayed here some years ago but found it in need of renovation. The good news was that the bathroom had been renovated, but the rest of the room still looked 'tired'. As a Priority Guest I arranged a late check out, only to find a Reception manager...
