Walking around this Campus can be a delight with the exceptional landscape gardening that surrounds the Chancelry Huts by the Administration Building. I saw many efforts to replace buildings in the area between University House and the Menzies Library. I am a regular visitor to University House and use it as a focal point for business and meeting friends. It...

We couldn't get in at University House when we were there for the National Speakers Convention. Fortunately across the road at Liversidge court, there were some apartments available. We got a two-bedroom apartment very reasonably priced. Kitchen fully equipped, lounge with small balcony. Bathroom has washing machine and dryer. Great value for money, perfect for events at University House. I...

Although the room rate is high, the whole experience is excellent. Very spacious room, good overlook and beautiful yard with water and fish in it. They also provide free internet if using their pc. I also came across a wedding ceremony held there. Besides, the surrondings are very tranquil and will ensure you a good rest.

I stayed at University House as I was attending a conference there. I encouraged international guests to stay there as well and what an embarrassment that was. The place was built in the fifties and whilst the rooms have been refurbished, the furniture is still straight out of the seventies. The bathrooms are reasonable, the bedroom is tight and the...

The whole area is 50 years old and is more or less still the same as in the beginning. Old ventilation making a lot of noice. With 150 guests teh bar closed in the whole weekend: ??? The price much to high for the quality. Sorry, but maybe this is OK for teachers etc; but not for a convention of...

After visiting Canberra for years, we finally stayed at the hotel a couple of weekends ago and were so impressed with the whole experience. Situated within the grounds of ANU the place has a unique feel - as other reviewers have commented, its almost like going back in time a little, but in a positive way. The rooms and reception...

We hadn't been to Canberra before and wanted to be close to the action. This place was recommended by a lecturer and we are thankful he did because you wouldn't necessarily think of it. The location is great. The courtyard with the fish are really a nice outlook. The rooms are fairly basic but spacious with everything you need and...

I've stayed many times at this hotel. In a sense, it is more like an aparthotel as the accommodation consisted of a bedroom with ensuite and a rather large lounge room with a good sized writing desk which is very useful when on business. Breakfast is in the Fellows Cafe which is on the premises. The overall price is not...

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst working at the university and fell in love with it. The rooms are huge with a vintage feel (in a good way!) The shower is super and there was lots of storage - it would be a good place to stay if you were to be here for a long period. The food...
