Stayed with the kids before school went back. Staff were all so lovely. Lots of learners were on board, which the hotel let us all know. It was so good to see the trainees being supported and the results being excellent service in housekeeping, the restaurant and reception. Everything was clean, the breakfast was amazing, all the pillows, bedding you could ask for, lovely city view, bigger than expected pool, great gym. Location was really good, parking menu provided at check in as a part of an FAQ sheet was really helpful. Loved our stay, loved being able to spend time catching up with family in such a chilled, friendly atmosphere.

Trip was booked for a wedding weekend stay. Chose this hotel due to value and location as part of a Sydney Weekender promotion, which included daily breakfast, late 1pm check out, and upgrade to park room view for $129/night Planned to change into my suit as soon as I arrived, however due to a stuff up with the room (their idea of a room with park view was the corrugated roof just above the entrance of the hotel). After speaking with staff and management (and a lot of time wasting which resulted in me being late for the wedding), I finally was provided keys to the right room. Crowne Plaza was definitely above average. Room and bed was very comfortable and having the the park view watching life go by was very serene and relaxing. Bathroom was very standard (basic). Breakfast was included and highly recommended! Loved the omelette station. Food was fresh and delicious. What topped it off was the friendly wait staff, who were more than happy to bring whatever you needed to your table so you didn’t have to get up! They went above and beyond what I expected.

Great location, just a short stroll to Canberra Center. Overall looks stunning from the outside, clean and modern on the inside. Checkin can be improved though, firstly 3pm checkin is too late compared to other hotels which allow from 2pm. Secondly room was not even ready for a number of people staying at the hotel at 3pm and there were a lot of disgruntled ppl.

We stayed over the New Years period. Front desk extremely welcoming. We have stayed here many times as we love the location. Our room had a very nice view over Glebe Park and was spotlessly clean. My only criticism was the Lume bar. It wasn't so much a bar, but simply tables and chairs outside the restaurant. We popped in on Sunday night for a late night drink and children were using the space as a playground! Their parents were largely ignoring them. It was most uncomfortable. There used to be a wonderful bar near reception, which was more private .

We chose the crown plaza because of its location and price. Being from NSW where covid numbers are rising we also looked for covid safe practices, an outdoor pool, and fun things for the kids to do which were outside. We arrived right on check in time and parked our car (we thought $29 was a great rate!) before unloading. We then went for a quick walk into the shopping centre before hiring a few e scooters and riding around the park. We thought about having dinner at the restaurant but because we had a picnic rug in the car we ordered takeaway and had dinner outside in the park. After dinner the kids were keen for a swim so they swam just before it got too dark (water temp was perfect for them, us adults didn’t hop in). We were still a little peckish so ordered room service later on and it was delivered quickly and food was great quality and reasonably priced. The room itself was fine, the bath/body wash was in a pump pack which wasn’t practical for a bath, so I suggest taking your own. Bathroom was a little dated and our mini bar fridge didn’t work very well. We were on level 4 and didn’t have much of a view, not sure what it is like from the other side. Brekky the next day was amazing with a great variety of food, and prices were ok as well $30/adult and $16/child. Checkout was easy and quick. Some of the activities our kids liked - - Big Splash Water Park (get there early to get a nice shaded spot) - Australian Mint - free entry and you can make your own coin! Get them to grab a kids book on the way in for a scavenger hunt - Questacon - National Muesum We tried to go to the War Memorial but you have to book, so bit of planning needed for that one. Thanks Quest for a lovely stay, we are definitely coming back and staying for a few more nights!
