Enjoy the comfort and privacy of our contemporary home in the inner Canberra suburb of Yarralumla, on the southern shores of lake Burley Griffin. Historic Yarralumla is home to the majority of Canberra's international embassies, the Royal Canberra Golf Course, Government House and the Hyatt Hotel. Annies@Yarralumla is a 4 star B&B, only 3 kilometres from Parliament, close to the lake and around the corner to the bus stop, bike paths and the popular Yarralumla village, including Chinese, Thai & Turkish restaurants and a bakery. Relax in the private lounge and dining room with fabulous aboriginal art and satellite TV. Many of our guests enjoy walking or cycling around Yarralumla, the lake and parks. Help yourself to endless fresh coffee, a selection of teas and home baked cookies.

I recently needed accomodation quickly to attend a funeral and Annie's was a great find for a one night stay. It's very comfortable , with a separate Bathroom next door and large lounge area .Annie is a lovely host . Breky was continental and adequate . There is a fabulous cafe in the shops around the corner if you need a caffeine fix with a walk and a great little Pizza restaurant (byo) for diner . Would definitely stay again

My husband and I had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Annnies. The B & B is very central to all the attractions of Canberra and a short pleasant stroll down to the lake. There are really good restaurants literally a 5 minute walk around the corner. Annie and her family were very welcoming and we were given a lovely continental breakfast. A selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were available 24hrs. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and we had access to a lovely lounge room, which had a TV, Music, DVD's books and games. All in all we had a fun/relaxing stay at Annies.

Had a blast at this B&B. Annie was friendly, breakfast was terrific, the house was perfectly set up and ready for an early check-in. Plus our host made for a great local tour guide. I'd stay here again in a second.

Thanks Annie and Mel, for making us so welcome in your home. The room was very spacious, with a fantastic separate bathroom. The lounge and dining area were huge and very comfortable. Located in the Canberra suburb of Yarralumla, it was a 40 minute stroll through delightful residential streets to the Lake Burley Griffin and the centre of Canberra. En route we could take in Parliament House, the National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery and the National Archive to name but a few of the attractions. Here for the cricket, we were nicely located to walk to the Manuka Oval - an added thrill was seeing Hashim Amla himself at a local restaurant. Annie is a wonderful hostess, and made us so very welcome, we were only sorry that our stay was just two nights. Thanks for your kindness, and for your lovely, healthy breakfasts!

I really enjoyed my time in Canberra and what really made it a memorable experience was the lovely accommodation I found and the charming host that runs it called Annie. She was extremely helpful in advising me about the top sights in Canberra as well as some fantastic places to dine. I found her both friendly and charming but she also instinctively knew when I felt like chatting and when I didn't. The room is large with a en-suite bathroom next door and there is a large TV room to relax in the evening and also a large dinning room table for your breakfast at a split level (one step) up from the sitting room area. I look forward to return to Annies@Yarralumla next time I am in Canberra

The room is large and set in a modern house. Spacious lounge area and high quality bathroom shower. Was very happy with the breakfast and Annie was a great hostess, overall an excellent experience. Not sure when I'll be back in Canberra, but would definitely stay there again.

This property has a double bedroom, a bathroom and a lovely lounge/dining room for a maximum of 2 guests in a quiet, leafy suburb. The bedroom was good. The bed could have been better. The hospitality was very good - a couple of wine glasses in the lounge room would have been good. Overall it was comfortable, private, very clean and a perfect location. It is within a very short walk to restaurants & cafes, a supermarket (with a good bottleshop), chemist & post office. Not much further to the lake and a park with resident kangaroos (for overseas guests) and a very short drive to the art gallery, war memorial, state library etc.
