Detailed Reviews
Excellent location with a short drive to key attractions, shopping centres and takeaway. The amenities in the room were superb: microwave, hotplate, dishwasher, iron/board, washing machine and dryer. Note that the rooms are not serviced daily if you stay three nights or under. Secure parking (extra charge of $15/night) was worth it. Lift available from carpark to access all floors including lobby. Breakfast (extra) is available at cafe in the lobby. Can purchase buy beer, softdrinks and a limited range of snacks, but the nearest shops and restaurants are a short 5-10 minute drive. Certainly would stay here again in this very roomy two room unit.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here for 4 nights to settle my child into uni. Great deal online. Perfect little room with balcony , kettle, fridge, bathroom etc. nice double bed. Perfect for one person. Parking $15 a night. It is co-located with Pavillion on Northbridge which is a lovely hotel next door with a great bar restaurant area (but rooms not as good as Adina) so best of both worlds. Dickson excellent location in Canberra too. The only thing the rooms need is a microwave (or they aren’t actually apartments, just hotel rooms)

Overall it was a great stay. The soundproofing in the rooms was great and also its location is perfect if you have a car.
Beware there is absolutely no food or supermarket options nearby but scooters are often parked nearby so perfect to zip around to the Dickson or Braddon shops. $15 for secure undercover parking seemed resonable.
The staff I dealt with were very helpful, especially the man from Darwin who went out of his way to assist us as 1st timers in Canberra. The furniture, carpets and the bed in rooms do need an upgrade as they are showing their age but the rooms are spacious and come with balconies. Overall it is good value for money.

7th day of our 20-day trip and we drove from Tathra to Canberra. Unintentionally took the long way (via Bateman's Bay) because we missed the turnoff to Cooma. Anyhow, Dickson was nice and quiet after the rigours of the longer drive. We chose this Adina rather than one of the other three simply because it was in a very quiet area, close to the war memorial and we certainly slept well during our 3-night stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful (as they have been in all of the many Adinas we've stayed at).
Our 2-br apartment was quite comfortable with the main area comprising a living/dining area, kitchenette and a king bedroom with ensuite. The separate room had a queen bed with bathroom. Both bedrooms had large TVs. There was another large TV, a dining table with 4 chairs, 2 armchairs and an uncomfortable settee in the main living area. The kitchenette was sparsely appointed. Importantly, the beds were both very comfortable and had blockout curtains. On-site, secure self-parking is available at a rate of $15 a day but, for us, was included in the room rate.
The building has a small shop but no restaurant. Not a problem for us as we rarely have a big breakfast. Room service is available and delivered to the room from the hotel next door. It was pretty expensive at $55 for 2 burgers.
The Dickson shopping centre is a few minutes drive away and we had good meals at Akiba in the city and Snapper & Co at Yarralumla. Our lunch at Poppy's at the war memorial was just okay but the guided tour of the memorial was very good and staying on for the Last Post ceremony was well worth the wait. We also loved our 90-minute self-drive around the deserted lake on a Love Boat.
Two nights with the tigers and lions at Jamala Wildlife Lodge followed this stay at Adina before moving on to Bateman's Bay, Merimbula and Paynesville.

Handy location, the room was small. We stayed for 3 nights. The two coffee cups were never replaced, we had to clean them in the bathroom so we could re-use them. There was only one small UHT container of milk provided, they did not replace the empty container. The only cutlery was one teaspoon, so you couldn’t order food in if you wanted something other than pizza or a burger. ‘Serviced apartments’? We’ll look for somewhere else next time.

Situated in quiet Dickson, this property is quiet and close enough to everything from shops, attractions, to restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was lovely as was the shower. The kitchenette had a good sized fridge, microwave and stove top, with enough utensils and crockery. Wifi was fast. Our car was in a secure garage. Staff were friendly.

Trip started off well with a lovely front desk attendant for check-in and that’s about where it ended. I booked this hotel as I wanted a room with a balcony. The room that I was allocated had a “balcony” that was barely big enough for two people to stand on and was recessed back into the building so had absolutely no view other than the walls of the building.
The shower was so small that I am grateful that I’m not a very large person or I would not have been able to shower. The shower head was located in a holder on the wall at the level of the tap, so it had to be held to be used.
After arriving back to the room a little after 10pm one night I was unable to get into my room as the battery in the card reader had gone flat, with no warning, it then took over half an hour for that to be fixed.
The only good thing about my stay was the bed. Very soft and very comfortable.

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment with sitting, lounging, cooking areas. It was very comfortable for a three night stay. The apartment had everything you needed and more including washing facilities that we did not need to use. The apartment is located conveniently to everything in Canberra. We enjoyed our balcony district views too. It's a pity, though, that parking is an extra. There is some street parking but it is restricted on certain days of the week and at specific times, so unless you are prepared to risk a fine, you're better off paying for parking. Having said that, the parking under the building is very convenient with lift access to all levels, making it very easy.

Disappointed stay on this occasion due to a few factors.
We have stayed previously and that was why we booked again with this location and motel.
Check in was excellent and Olivia was very welcoming and polite. great
Checked into room 201 on 1st November room ok placed our food and drinks in fridge and then went out still ok
got up on 2/11/2021 to find everything in the fridge ruined and spoilt dumped it all not good
fridge was hot and appeared to be on defrost setting. adjusted fridge setting to cold. worked straight away ok
showered then breakfasted out as our breakfast was spoilt and dumped
Came back to motel about 9pm found that the room had not been serviced not ok rang reception and informed him of the situation he then brought us clean towels while my wife made the bed and washed the cups and glasses not good
next my wife got in the shower screamed and suggested that she was NOT happy due to being wet and freezing under the cold water as the hot water was not working in some other words again rang reception and informed him of the situation he looked into it and later informed us that it was the whole floor and would be repaired in the morning still not good wife a freezing unhappy wife very much not good believe me
Yahooo hot water to shower in the morning nice warm shower happy wife good happy me
thought we better come back to motel mid day to see if the room was serviced OK was nice and clean and fresh as would be normal
overall experience was not as we expected as our earlier stay was excellent and that was why we came back
Lesson to me Check that the fridge is COLD
Lesson to Motel Check that the fridge is cold Ensure rooms are serviced
Suggestion to manager Have all fridge checked that they are cold and not in defrost mode before the weekend rush TODAY

House keeping did a terrible job at making our room up food still on the floor and rubbish just left on the ground. The bed wasn’t made they just pulled the sheet up and left, very poor service from all staff reception were really unhelpful when we complained, they came and took a picture and then left didn’t even tell us the way forward. Extremely overpriced definitely wouldn’t stay again I definitely recommend staying at other hotels in ten area.

Thank you for your enquiry,
Our car park has two basements. The height limit to go underground is 1.9 metres. If your vehicle is higher than that there are some spots on the ground floor, for which there is a height limit of 2.5 metres. This however is not undercover although you will need to pass through a roller door in order to get in. Spaces on this area are limited so they are subject to availability.
The Dickson shops are within 5 minutes drive or a pleasant 20 minute walk from the apartments. There is a Woolworths supermarket that should have online delivery available.
Good Morning Bronwyn M ,
Our reception is open until 11 pm. If you happen to arrive after 11 pm, you will be able to collect your keys at our sister property Pavilion on Northbourne (242 Northbourne Avenue), which is located just behind the Aria hotel.
Kind Regards,
Aria Team
