Stayed here for a week in Canberra. One bedroom apartment is large with a view over hills. Close to CBD and the shops and restaurants of Dickson by car or tram. Tram a 5 minute walk. Some of the furnishings are a bit worn. Not much in the way of shops etc within walking distance.
We had to cancel our booking at Adina due to the NSW border closed as we live in SA. The management could not have been nicer about it! "Thank you for letting us know, we completely understand due to the current situation. Your health and safety is priority. I have now cancelled the booking. We hope to see you in the future." You certainly will Adina, and congratulations Olivia for your great customer service, unlike Albacore Merimbula which charged us $100 for a Covid cancellation made 4 weeks in advance!
We had a lovely one bedroom apartment with a view to Black Mountain. Apartments are a few minutes drive from restaurants, supermarket, Dan Murphy’s and all the sights. Room was lovely. Spacious. Comfortable
Will never go back again or recommend to.any friends. My name was never called from the time when I checked in.. Baby cot was broken without setup, nothing has provided for the baby. Not worth for $230 per night with such a rude customer service. Understand that your policy has changed, however the personal touch service needs to be training more or perhaps the reception staff. I have to leave my two years old baby in the car with window open(.Under such a cold weather) while I must to check in at the reception. The staff will not give me the access to the car park which she can check from the system. She was rude, never apologized for this matter. Current hotel service is not valuable for $230 per night, the service just same as a cheap motel.
We arrived for our 50th wedding anniversary treat to find we were given a shoebox of a room, not an apartment. So be careful when you book - after one day we had to decamp to an apartment five times the size, for an extra $40 per night. On check-on the receptionist was not helpful. After we had moved to an actual apartment we could have family round, and it was fine.
