I will start this review by pointing out what this B&B is not. It is not newly decorated/furnished, not trendy and definitely not up market. Miranda Lodge offers basic, clean accommodation, free easy-to-connect wi fi, continental cooked to order breakfast (served 7.45am to 9.00am) and (limited) off street parking. My room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities,...

The outside of this Hotel is not very appealing, grounds are untidy, gutter guard was hanging off. The rooms are old, carpet is faded, paint peeling, inner curtains torn and outer curtains held together by bulldog clips. Large TV on the wall but thick dust behind. Bed was old but comfortable, sheets were very clean. Towels were old but clean...

It was clean and comfortable – fresh towels daily. We had an upstairs room at the back so little/no street noise. The best was the breakfasts with the most perfectly poached egg each morning. Good coffee too. Would give it 8/10 for medium range accommodation. Bouquets to the young man running it and doing the cooking.

Mark Lam is an excellent host. he was very attentive and helpful in our entire stay. The room was clean and we felt comfortable staying there for 2 nights. We got what I paid for, especially the room price was so reasonable plus, the travel extra advise from Mark.

A cheap place so you don't expect luxury. We had stayed here about 5 years ago and nothing had changed. Everything is a bit dated, tired, and basic but the rooms are clean so really all you need for a one night stop over. Sadly the outside needed a really good clean and when I spoke to the owners suggesting...

Friendly service with included breakfast(hot & cold with good choices). Comfortable clean rooms in good location for all attractions. Short walk to Dickson eating precinct and close to main road to winery areas. This is our 4th stay here and will return in future. Thanks Mark.

Mark made us feel very welcome from our arrival until we left in the morning. he was very helpful with directions and tips. the room was excellent, clean and well decorated and although not really in walking distance of the city it is still well situated and easy to find. i would definitely recommend B&B. I found the accommodation to be clean and tidy, and value for money. The room was small however I believe the cheap rate reflected this. Mark was very helpful and accommodating during my stay. I would stay at Miranda Lodge again.

We have just stayed for our fourth or fifth time @ Miranda Lodge. The accommodation is comfortable (considering one is out and about most of the time) and good value. Likewise breakfasts are not only good value, but substantial. Mark, mine host, is warm, friendly & knowledgeable of the area. Would feel very comfortable recommending the Miranda Lodge & we...
