Detailed Reviews
The park is a great location but unless you have a bike, you need to drive everywhere. There are no shops within walking distance. Park has a restaurant but we did not eat there. It looked nice.
The pool was shut down. Covid?
The toilets were cleaned on the day we arrived (Friday), but on Monday they were still not cleaned. Toilet paper had run out and rubbish left in bathroom was there all weekend. Looking at the cleaning log they are only cleaned every 2 days and not on weekends!
Only got more toilet paper after I alerted staff member.
Sites are generous and drive through but the park is expensive compared to other places in NSW and QLD on the coast which have a lot more to offer.
Staff were friendly and helpful but I think the cleaners need to be more efficient.
I would not stay here again.

Loved the en-suite caravan site. The steps into the en-suite were awkward and could do with a grab rail but the sensor light was good and needed. During winter and COVID 19 the park was not too busy but could be very busy at other times. It was clean and tidy. On arrival after 2pm the en-suite was still being cleaned by someone talking noisily on a phone which distracted him as there was an empty wine bottle left in the bottom cupboard. Not enough rubbish bins throughout the park which resulted in the visible bins near the laundry being full and overflowing.

This is one of the most characterless caravan parks I have visited (50 to date and counting)........
We stayed here in early December on a caravan site which was only okay. All their sites are level and on concrete but that's where the good part stops. The access is very tight and we only have a 22'5 van. All sites are drive-through. Good luck trying to hammer in guy ropes. The ground is rock hard.
There is not a blade of grass here. Being from Western Australia we are used to red dirt, but even we thought that the gravel everywhere was rather too much.
The park was doing up their facilities at the time and to get to the pool it was a 'packed lunch' trip. The road outside was also being upgraded at the same time which didn't help. Hopefully it is all done now.
Amenities were very nice. Clean with lovely tiling. .
Distance to Canberra was reasonable but price was pretty high. If I ever went to Canberra again (which I doubt) I would probably consider staying at the park further outside just so that I had a bit more room.

We stayed here at an ensuite site for 2 nights. The campsite was busy and quite big so less spacious than others we stayed at but not overly noisy.
We didn't use any of the facilities but the ensuite was clean and tidy but hand towels etc were not provided and the site had some shade.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful and provided us with bus information to get into the centre. The bus stop was approximately a 15 minutes walk away and reasonably frequent ($9 for a day ticket for all services).
If we were in the area we would probably stay here again.

We had a couple of nights here and quite enjoyed our stay but attention to detail was lacking. We booked online and the cabin looked quite spacious but you could not swing a cat in it with four us staying in a Grevillea cabin. We had a terrible gas smell coming out of the oven whilst it was going and to give the reception credit they did offer to move us but it was late at night, cold and we were all unpacked so we stayed as we were only cooking some nibbles. The linen was clean and crisp and the cabin itself was clean as well but the cabin had very limited kitchen equipment, no tongs, not a sharp knife in sight and no steak knives. The mattresses in the bunks and single bed were thin and rock hard in fact one of us took mattress into lounge and slept on the couch. Perhaps we should have picked a more expensive cabin that may have suited but I don't think we could be bothered trying this park again....if you want to self cater at all you probably need to bring stuff with you. Probably would book a hotel or apartment next time, the night before we stayed at the Mercure Belconnen and it is reasonably priced and gorgeous.

We travelled to Canberra for a week's break and chose Alivio Tourist Park for our accommodation having stayed there previously with our caravan. The new units and their location in the park is perfect with beautiful gardens surrounding them. We were very fortunate to stay in one of these and can highly recommend them for their comfort and cleanliness. The staff at reception were also very welcoming.

From the friendly reception staff to the layout of the park, this is the best park I have stayed in throughout Vic, ACT and NSW.
ALL caravan sites are drive through, all have asphalt, power, water and sullage are only a meter away from the van so no winding up muddy hoses etc.
Ensuite was clean and big with heat lamps to make it cosy, even the main conveniences had two large heaters going all day and night.
The park is beside bush land so you wake up to native birds, kangaroos etc.
There is a restaurant at reception for take away pizza or dine in.
Unfortunately there was nothing to clean the bbqs in the camp kitchen or an electric jug for hot water. Great Park!

Very well laid, nice helpful staff. Large bar and restaurant and verandah looking over pool. The sites are all concrete, well laid out roads, easy drive through sites. Our ensuite was one of a four block across the road. Went into ensuite to check it out. The sink and bench was dirty, the shower and grout was dirty, I had to clean it with antiseptic wipes. I did tell the staff about it, but I never heard back. I paid $84 per night and would have expected better and clean amenities. I definitely will not be back.

A very well located Caravan Park only 4.5 klm from the CBD.
All sites are tarred with concrete slabs drive through and very level and functional with power, water and silage very close.
The reception staff were second to none bring very friendly and informative.
The amenities were very functional too although the cleaners aren’t exactly thorough.
All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Hi Kerry,
Due to being surrounded by Nature Park full of native animals, Alivio is not a pet friendly park.
Hi Hayley,
We no longer have camping sites for tents. We do offer powered drive through sites for caravans and camper vans though.
Hi Saba,
The three bedroom villas have two bathrooms (and toilets).
The main bathroom runs off the corridor near the living space. The second bathroom is an ensuite that is attached to the master room with a queen bed.
Hi Bethne,
Based on two guests, the price is currently $54.00 per night, additional guests on a site are charged at $8.00 per night.
If you would like to make a booking, please contact our reception on 02 6247 5466.
