Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a converted apartment block - even reception is a converted bedroom. Obviously some 2 bedroom apartments have been split to create two 1 bedroom apartments of which we had a small half of. Plus points: Very comfortable beds. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Free underground parking. Quiet location. Pool. Couple of bottles of water and Coke (albeit full fat) Negative points : No option to have breakfast (in a 4 star property). Airconditioning turns itself off frequently. Extraction in bathroom was useless. Walk in shower obviously had a door at some stage but it was either broken or removed. Several large hairs on the bathroom floor. Pathetically thin toilet paper. Terrace area of ours and adjacent rooms clearly haven't had a decent clean in weeks! - ingrained dirt on tiles, grout and walls. Stains on room carpet. Pathetically small bedside tables which have a lamp with a ridiculously huge base. Only 1 chair? Having mirrors to the ceiling would be nice if someone got to polish the top half occasionally. Hallway carpets are grubby. Considering covid cases are currently on the rise again, the general lack of cleanliness is somewhat disturbing. Management really need to review their cleaning policies and inspect rooms!!!!! As a summary the place is overpriced for what is on offer and cleanliness needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency. It does not warrant a 4 star rating in my opinion.

Had 3 nights here over Xmas break. Large apartment, Quiet, Very Clean, Well equipped kitchen. Hotel provided drinks and snacks free of charge for guests which is a nice touch. Garage was large and well lit and had large spaces for cars and plenty of spaces. Very modern and very well run premises. Enjoyed our stay and will definately be back. It is very close to the shops and bars in Kingston but you can not hear any noise.

We love staying here - it is a quality serviced apartment building. This time we brought our children and rented a 3 bedroom apartment. It had lots of space, 3 lovely bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus a big living and dining area and a full size kitchen. The staff are really good and we can also plug our car in to charge in the garage downstairs

The location was good, we like that area as there many restaurants close by. The staff were excellent. The first day, whatever was in the room including the minibar was complimentary !!! The room was spacious and clean. The car parking was excellent. The lifts were fast and new. We asked for a late checkout by an hour, which was granted at no charge. It was one of the best places we have stayed in. We will return.

The location of these apartments is perfect with underground parking that is easily accessible. I had stayed here before in a very roomy 2-bedroom apartment and was disappointed with our very small single bedroom with only one chair. The bathroom was huge and well-appointed and everywhere was well-maintained, but we were sorry to be unable to sit together quietly after a busy morning out exploring.

The hotel was in a great location, short walk to the Kingston shops, the Kingston foreshore and the Manuka shopping district. It was also a short walk to the Parliamentary Triangle. A very quiet area of the inner eastern suburbs of Canberra. The room I had overlooked the street, on the top floor. The room was small in size, but adequate and very well maintained. The bathroom was light and bright and there was plenty of storage everywhere. The facility also had a lap pool and gym which looked in excellent condition. The staff were warm and friendly and my roo was serviced daily and I felt very welcomed.

Converted apartments - not very big. Better options out there that I would personally stay at next time. The bathroom wasn’t very clean with mouldy looking grout. No in-house Resturant or services unfortunately.

Recently stayed in May and sadly won’t be back. The rooms are bland and are really just an empty apartment with not much sole. Staff were friendly but the room was very dusty and clearly not used in a few days.

First time we tried this hotel, and what a pleasant surprise. A standout is the friendly staff! Very engaging and caring. The room was superb, with a sliding for opening to the veranda. The TV even included blockbuster movies. The shower was spacious with a relaxing rain shower head, and a spacious bath. Last but not least, the king size bed was so comfortable, we slept like kings till the morning, when we tried one of the many local breakfast eateries. Highly recommended. And yes, we will be back soon, as my daughter lives in Canberra.

The apartments are very conveniently located within minutes walk of shops, pharmacist, hairdressers, cafes and restaurants. A quick ride either by taxi or bus into the city. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are spot on. You are provided with free water, soft drinks, snacks and more! Very convenient for the business traveller arriving late and needs a snack. The bathroom is a generous size with hot shower with easy access. The rooms are very quiet with no noise at all during thr ay or night coming from other rooms or the road. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to families or business travellers.
