Pearly Beach is one stop within our garden-Route trip. It was not recommended in any travel Guide But i loved the pictures in the internet so i decided to have a stopover here, especially because it is perfectly located within Cape town, hermanus and Cape Agulhas. The Ark B&B is a pearl that i have found, Not surprising it is...

Wonderful stay in this guest house. Excellent bedding and soft white towels. Wonderful big traditional breakfast. The ocean is on the doorstep and the views are magnificent. Decor is good and rooms are very clean.

Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly host Steve & good breakfast. Easy to find, walking distance to the beach. Small town with only a couple of restaurants. Close enough to stay to go shark cage diving in Kleinbaai.

I spent a few days at the Ark and had a very good impression both of the confortable stay and Steve's local interests. Also the Ark is well situated close to a huge beach where you can walk for hours. Probably will be back during the summer. Isabel.

The Ark is no more than a kilometre from one of the longest pristine beaches that I've encountered, where one can spend time walking or enjoying other beach related activities. Accommodation is confined to 3 rooms down stairs, all dated, but kept in good condition. With Steve serving a quality breakfast in the mornings, staying here is well worth it....

Great place to stay! Steve was very hospitable and friendly on arrival. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The only downside was the town in general very small so the visit to their only pub was not the greatest in terms of service. Furthermore, i will definitely stay at The Ark when in close proximity

Do not expect anything fancy here at this secluded B&B but all the basics are there. A friendly reception awaits you and a very helpful host serving a hearthy English breakfast. We marvelled a the starry november nightsky and liked the feeling of being away from all the stress of a city. In high season this place will be overcrowded....

Our family of 6 took over The Ark's 3 rooms for 4 nights in conjunction with a 4 day guided beach trail with Beachcomber. Steve & Lee made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had the run of the downstairs area with our own lounge/dining room and enjoyed good breakfasts and a great braai on the...

We manage to get 1 nights accommodation at The Ark and we had a very lovely time. Steve from the start were on the call in terms of managing everything for us and allowed us to make use of his "braai" facilities so that we can enjoy my wife's birthday celebration in peace and quietness. The rooms is massive and...

Stayed here whilst travelling on the garden route. Steve and Lee were great hosts. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Pearly Beach and surrounds is a bit of a hidden gem, and the Ark lovely base from which to explore the area

“All the rooms are very quiet and dark at night. Steve and Lee chose the perfect room for us when we gave them our requirements. Two rooms are en suite and the other has it's own large family bathroom - perfect for if you've got children or just fancy a relaxing bath after a day exploring.”
