My family booked the location last minute because we realized we needed to stay near the airport to catch a morning flight. We were so pleased! The rooms are so cute and cozy...they even have little electric fireplaces! The shower was so warm and the water pressure was amazing.

We were a bit hungry but not too much. I ended up having the pork ribs and the wife had a salad, thank goodness for the olive oil n balsamic that everyone seems to use now! Also we shared a delicious pumpkin soup, really nice and warmed us up from the chilly rain. They brought

Very basic accommodation, motel like, simple but clean rooms. Simple tasty breakfast. Friendly personnel. But the price is too high - for a little bit more you can get a LOT better accommodations in Costa Rica. In my opinion it should cost half of what they charge.

No shuttle that I am aware of but you should be able to find one through one of the La Fortuna hotels or lodges from SJO. Same with Poas. FYI, for the cost of a shuttle, just rent a car. Driving is safe, easy and affordable. Not to mention convenient. Roads are good, ignore the complaints of bad roads, not true. Roads are on good to excellent condition. Of course there are exceptions but no worse than any other country, especially in the US. Drive!
