Went there for a day, hoping to extend our stay. Couldn't wait to leave this place. We stayed at the villas, not the main building. Great on the outside, but urine smell on the inside. Apparently they have a problem with reclaimed water. Once we start using the restroom a strong urine odor came out of it. We had to... More

The hotel is located in a village near Plovdiv, so you can enjoy nature and have quite time. There are tennis courts and football grounds nearby. Also you can enjoy the hotel indoor pool, steam bath and sauna. Rooms are large and comfortable. The car is a must if you want to travel around, but you can also order a... More

This is my third visit here and every time the hotel and are is better and better. The rooms are nice, big enough, well furnished. The area is improved with every visit. The spa is great. The restaurants are superb. This time we are staying in a villa, which is absolutely lovely - a fire place, nice living room and... More

We spent 7 nights at Hotel Berkut. We were assigned the hotel by the group we were with for a large international event in Plovdiv. The hotel itself was nice enough. We had a larger room as there were 3 of us. The a/c was just ok, but that seems to be typical of Bulgaria. There was a lot of... More

The worst experience! To start with we were not welcomed properly - the staff was rude. We've been asked 3 times if we'll have dinner! The room was not clean enough, the AC was very loud and the pool was cold and dirty. The sauna and steam bath were fine. The best thing was the dinner - compliments to the... More

We stayed at the Hotel Berkut during our visit to the Bulgarian International Air Festival. The hotel is situated on a mountainside, far from all the noise of Plovdiv. Having a car is a must, but taxis are quite cheap, so they could be an alternative. Getting there is the difficult part (the village of Brestnik is close to the... More

Nice village, new hotel, and helpful staff "speaking English" 15 min. from Plovdiv, cost you 6-8 Bul-Luv by taxi or 1.30 Bul-Luv by bus to get to Plovdiv, will add more info latter.
