Remote countryside manor recently renovated to accommodate visitors and to host events. Overwhelmingly friendly staff (young latvian/russian commanded lady with seemingly angry but virtually cute dog). Crackling stairways and museal scents, not to speak of here-and-there laid out nostalgic artefacts in interior create a particular atmosphere to absorb. Huge spacious rooms! Total quiet around the manor. Despite the overall quiet,...

Very clean troughout, a proper shower, very large room, TV, wifi and a decent breakfast; what more could you ask for?Well, the nearest restaurant is at Cesvaine about 4km away and you might cosider bringing your own supper instead. Stil very good value if you are in the neighbourhood visiting the Cesvaine Castle.
