The staff here were so friendly and helpful. As I had no transport I was unsure how I would get to visit Phraya Nakhon cave. The Assistant Manager arranged transport to/from the national park entrance 10kms away. Also arranged my taxi to Hua Hin. Very much appreciated.
My single villa room was modern looking and of reasonable size. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. Power point next to the bed.
The bathroom had a segregated shower recess. Good hot water with decent water pressure.
Breakfast was a choice of meal from a limited menu plus toast, jams and fruits.
Restaurants are not far away. The pool is large and well maintained.
I was fortunate being here on a Saturday as over 40 vendors set up along the beach with seating and live music for night time entertainment.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

The Green Beach Resort is a simple structure, but clean and very well located, you can walk to the beach and there is also the indoor pool. Guests of the hotel have free bikes that allow you to reach the various restaurants located on the
Waterfront. Maybe we are out of season, but there is an incredible calm and everything seems even more beautiful. Breakfast served in a structure that makes it look like a canteen (pity) is normal and is not the strong point. Anyway they are very kind and hospitable

The room was large well equipped clean and comfortable.
The staff I found a particular joy as nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile and a resolution.
The pool was a good size and well mantained.
Breakfast was more than adequate and requests for menu variations were always obliged.
Location is fantastic, 2 minute walk to the beach, and easy distance to good eateries and bars...Be aware, this is a small under developed resort. If you want nightlife this is NOT the place for you!

f you want to get away from the commercial package holiday then this is the place for you . Quiet, Thai family beach resort , with minimal facilities , miles of unspoilt beaches, just you and the local fishermen and a few other independent tourists. Great cycle track along the coast and close proximity to national parks. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean with a lovely pool and breakfast area. Friendly helpful staff speaking good English. Free bikes for hotel residents to explore local area. Small family run restaurants / beach food stalls within 5 minutes walk. Four hours drive from Bangkok. .

We stopped for one night on way to Samui, arriving lunchtime and stayed in 103 - our own little house! The room was big but oddly appointed, but no safe. There was wifi but a little slow. We borrowed bikes to cycle up and down dolphin bay which was fun. The pool was good, clean and huge!
We didn't eat in the hotel apart from a rather average breakfast.
Hotel staff were friendly especially the receptionist who spoke English.
An enjoyable stop off.
Dolphin bay has many restaurants, although the beach itself is over promoted. We ate at Alfrescoes down a little soi about a kilometre South of the hotel - easy to miss. It is a Mexican, but covers western food and was excellent value. You can also, stay there for 700 baht a night. Great value.
Wouldn't stay more than a couple of nights in Dolphin Bay, but Green Beach cost 2700 off agoda.com which was probably overpriced, for 3 of us.

Extremely happy with the hotel staff, they are always eager to assist to all our needs. They would even go out of their way to extend help, shout out to the hotel manager for finding a flat iron and for arranging a taxi going to Hua Hin bus terminal for us.

The swimming pool, room, and linens are always clean and the bikes have been a great help to the hotel guests especially those who want to roam around the area in the evening or to check out the nearby national park.

Staff was top notch and extremely gracious. The grounds/garden areas were perfect. The pool was very large and 6' deep to shallow at the other end. They also have a smaller pool ares for the kids. Pool side chairs were limited to maybe 5-7 but mid week we had the place pretty much to ourselves. It gets full on the weekend as the Thai's come down from BKK. We stayed in a deluxe poolside room with the patio facing the pool Table and chairs were provided there as well. Bedding was perfect, and extra pillows were provided on request. On the second floor over us are LARGE family rooms (twice the size of ours) and had to call management to stop the kids from running around. Problem solved. Onsite bicycles were free and there's a long bike path along the beach. 2-3 minute walk to the beach with 6-8 restaurants/bars within walking or biking distance from the hotel. We booked 4 nights but being well removed from many things we decided to cut the trip short. I talked to Ping Pong (nickname) and explained that the Ms. wanted to head back home and was actually given my money back. This is something that's unheard of in Thailand, especially in the hotel industry. That gesture alone shown the integrity of the management.
If you want peace and quite during the week, go.But as I said weekends are booked up. It's a 20 minute drive to the nearest Tesco Lotus for supplies and 30 minutes or so to Hua Hin itself. Breakfast was a set menu with 6-8 choices, eggs to order etc. but they also had a fruit, cereal, drinks buffet.
ALSO and most important......It's cheaper to book with them via email or telephone directly, than thru an online service..Enjoy.

Hotel check in very friendly although not any information about the national parks or any attractions locally.
Staff nice and took our bags to the room in a golf buggy. Tea while we waited to check in.
Breakfast good - varied choice and freshly cooked. Served in a new building but one needs to walk through a car park strewn with rubbish on and rubbish around the walkway.
Rooms good - if you are staying at a weekend don't get a pool view room as there do not seem to be any times when the pool is closed to visitors.
Pool area very nice but we were a bit surprised on Friday afternoon to find 7 Thai families arrive and all jump into the pool with their clothes on having got straight out of their cars. No shower before entering the pool policy! The pool was then full from morning till night with families with their clothes on and washing hanging all around the pool area.

If you are looking for 5 star luxury then this isn't the hotel for you, but if you are looking for a good 2/3star hotel in a great location then stay here. Sam Roi national park is just south of Hua Hin on the east coast of Thailand and is in as yet undeveloped area of Thailand. This is one of the few hotels in the resort and it is situated right at the end of the beach. The pictures of the hotel are very accurate the pool area is lovely and we stayed in a ground floor room overlooking the pool. There was a nice outside seating area and the rest of the grounds are beautiful. The hotel rooms are fairly basic but were functional and very clean. The hotel policy of leaving you alone to relax means that you need to let them know you want you room cleaned and towels changed otherwise they will not disturb you. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is pretty mediocre and the breakfast not great, probably not worth
getting up for. There are plenty of good restaurants on the beach we would recommend Phen Tai which is a short walk out of the hotel to the left next to the one offering western food. The couple who run it are lovely and they serve traditional food and seafood at very good prices. The beach looks beautiful but under foot it is muddy and there were lots of jellyfish which meant you couldn't swim, I don't know if it was the time of year or a continual problem. The hotel has bikes for rent at a very cheap rate and along the road you can hire mopeds which will allow you to explore further up the coast where the beaches and sea are nicer but again full of jelly fish but we did find a fabulous restaurant for lunch one day. There is a little girl just outside the hotel entrance offering massage which I can thoroughly recommend, she comes to your room and is lovely. We had a wonderful stay here and would visit again it was a fantastic end to our tour of SE Asia.

Good location, near National Park. Large parking. Bicycle 40 baht (Booking writes - for free). The beach is not for swimming. Staff are not all friendly. The room is not big. Linens dirty with stains. Very bad speed Wi fi. Fitness is not (Booking says there yes ). Old, plastic ware at breakfast. Next to a lot of other hotels.
