Detailed Reviews
Best resort we ever had! Staffs are very welcoming starting from the car park up to the reception. We choose the Garden Villa - a bungalow with a semi farm surroundings. The room is wonderful, we like the rustic style of the bathroom a lot. Then in the afternoon we soak in the bath tub under and you can have it privately just pull down the cover. What made us happy is, in the evening they put a little carabao stuff toy on our bed to cuddle before sleep where you can have it by purchasing it after you check out for souvenir. In the evening we ate at the restaurant and the food is alright. It has selective choices of food. The most amazing experience is when we went to the beach and watch the moon and the stars shining in the sky while sipping our prosecco. 😍 Breakfast is fine and for the last time we did a morning swim to the beach before leaving this paradise. In summary, we had a great time. Thank you! 🤗💕

Super friendly staff upon arrival and throughout our stay. This place was very well designed and decorated with nature elements. Food was good, really love the waffle. Only comment that they should have a towel hanger in the toilet for our ginger room.

Seafront Balinese stays, sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, good vibes, laid-back beaches ⁇
la a natu bed & bakery 🛖🌳🌴
Laento, a Balinese-style residence with rice fields, surrounded by big trees, mountains, sea, a calming atmosphere, well-equipped facilities such as dining room, pool, cafe, and bicycles to enjoy the view, and complemented by warm, friendly service, this vacation is all about joy and a smile.
The rooms on this trip are Villas with field views, a well-sized, two-story villa with a view of the field and a good sense of wind. The first floor is a playroom with air TV and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath and terrace. The second floor is a bedroom with large beds, and the view of this room is overlooking the field and sea views.

Stayed at La Anatu for a night in December 2021. Our room is a beach-front villa. The place is quite tired. Shower room is not fully-sealed so there might be some gecko or frog inside. If you sre not a morning person, in the morning, be ready to get all sunlight through your bedroom. Breakfast does not have much variety and very slow. Overall not an impressive stay.

A friend recommended this to us. We live locally, had seen the signs but couldn't find and spent ages on the web trying to track it down (addresses on TA for this neck of the woods are fairly meaningless). anyway, eventually, found and I have to preface this review by saying that I do understand that 'naturalness' is part of the name and presumably part of the offering.
Well, natural it certainly was - an interesting approach to get in (buggy and palm made bridge - am sure it was safe but didn't feel like it) and the huts looked appalling, set as they were within piles of rubbish. Sala beds are a big thing here - but I have never seen one in a rusting metal frame (they are normally made of wood) and with an MFI type matress on it. Without a cover. Uggggg
Anyway we were here for the food which was highly recommended. Nice table overlooking beach (quite dirty - it does really bug me that business don't clean front of their premises) but it was a taste of what was to come when three workmen watched my husband who is not in best of health struggle to move sunbrellas to keep the sun off
Beer came quickly - although at 180 baht for the most miniscule glass of wine I can remember didn't sit well with me. The server was a young kid, nothing wrong with that, but was more interested in playing with his ipad than serving (a professional waitress did emerge later but didn't feel the need to help this young lad).
First course was stunning. Bruschetta. best I have ever eaten. And boded well for rest of the meal. It might well have done if it had come. As I don't get decent bread very often I ordered a cheese and ham toastie. It really was very very good. My husband ordered snapper. And that's the status it remained at - ordered. We waited 45 minutes after I had finished my meal to enquire about the snapper. 10 minutes more we were told. We said we couldn't wait any longer and tried to pay the bill. the snapper was still on it and I refused to pay for it.
In thailand we are used to food coming out in the wrong order and not at the same time (it's the way they eat) but almost an hour before my finishing my meal and the other person's meal coming is not acceptable. Neither was the way they handled it
I have read all the other reviews of this place and do wonder whether I have been to the same place as I really can't see how this place could be brilliant - it's dirty, in desperate need of maintenance and the staff (other than the buggy driver) really were not trained, up to job or even cared that was the case. will never come back here again that's for sure - a lunchtime totally ruined
Oh, and forgot to say, three beers, three wines, one bruschetta (three pieces) and a toastie and chips came to ~£40!!!!!! Horrendous ....

My wife, baby and I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2012. Its pretty much on a private secluded beach nestled between 2 small hills just south of Pranburi beach. It was an incredibly peaceful time, the atmosphere and the feeling of the whole area is quite unique and not very touristy at all.
It is a small resort offering only 10 rooms. Beach side bungalows, (on the beach) and country cottages (behind) which are stilt Bamboo huts on landscaped rice paddies. All rooms are incredibly tasteful. with air con tv mini bar, and amazing out door granite baths. there is a great pool on the roof of the main building, which is a great spot for a sundowner. (well pretty much the whole resort is) there is also a large grass lawn near the beach which was perfect for my baby boy as he was just learning to walk at that time.
We took down our mountain bikes with us as we know this area is utterly fantastic for cycling. the coastal roads and surrounding landscape is stunning, and there is virtually no traffic. I certainly recommend taking your bikes down with you if you have the ability to as the Sam Roi Yot area is very unique.
The staff were great but spoke little or no English. This resort is more aimed at well-to-do Thais, So its a good idea to brush up on your Thai skills before heading there.
The breakfasts are out of this world, with amazing home baked goods, fresh eggs, fresh pineapple juice (of which the region is famous for). Try some banana bread with strawberry jam.
Any way, I have lived in Thailand for 4 years now, I have a very small list of favourite places, and this is certainly one of them. A little bit pricey, but definitely worth the treat.

This small boutique hotel really has it all.
Great location, directly next to beach, unique design and layout (pictures are realistic), friendly staff and great food. It can really be considered a great hideaway and you could even oversee some small shortcomings.
However what is absolutely annoying and may avoid us to come back is the traffic of outside guests visiting the hotel, having maybe one coffee or meal there and then populating the whole area taking pictures for hours. This is just too much to bear and completely destroys the great asset of privacy.
I would suggest the owner/manager to quickly think about limiting access to most of the area for guests only. Otherwise rather convert into a restaurant and close the hotel.

Reasons you have to stay here: 1) Great Breakfast (Simply delicious), 2) Outstanding Services, 3) Spacious Rooms, 4) Nicely decorated, 5) Great Touch With Nature and 6) High Privacy.
The only minus for this resort is the selection of western food, which was very limited. Other than that, all are outstanding. Recommended for those who are looking for privacy while they're on vacation.

I stayed at La a Natu for a quick weekend getaway with my two children aged 8 and 9. It is an absolutely lovely getaway! The rooms were very nice and the beach front was really quite unbelievable - beautiful and completely empty - for being within driving distance of Bangkok. It's a lovely romantic place, with great staff and yummy food. If you do not drive yourself, you might feel a bit isolated and the only restaurant within walking distance is the hotel's - which was yummy but pricey in my opinion. They have an awesome bakery also, so high tea and breakfast were wonderful. It's about 15 min away from Khao Sam Roi Yod, so we did an easy hike there and back in time for lunch. The rooms and buildings are built with natural materials, so it really is like an island getaway.

Relax by the sea at La A Na tu in Pranburi Prachuab Khirikhan only 2 hrs 30 mins drive from Bangkok.
You will love the atmosphere here La A Na tu Bed & Bakery. The property has a unique interior and decoration combination of art and local Thai design. The resort boasts a spacious nature area, with a beautiful rural landscape and paddy field along the Sam roi yot beach.
There are many room types, each room type is different and beautiful. (You can click the link for more information accommodation )
We stayed at a Tropical cottage beach front (Baan Ton Horm). The excellent cottage by the sea has a separate bedroom area and living room with an outdoor bathroom and lavatory.
This cottage also has an outdoor private pool next to the living room with a nice beach view from your cottage, you can just walk to the beach from the resort!
The room has all the amenities, 6 free bottles of water, Instant coffee and cocoa. Hairdryer, Shampoo and bath gel.
When you check in the resort will give you a complimentary Afternoon tea voucher for two at La A na tu's perfect homestyle bakery. The afternoon tea set has a yummy 2 pieces of scones, Panna Cotta, Cheese pie with strawberry sauce, Chocolate cake, carrot cake, brownie and sandwiches.
The resort also has excellent food! We ordered room service for dinner due to the Covid 19 situation.
We tried...
Stuffed omelette with minced pork stir fry with vegetables in tomato sauce.
Yard long beans stir fried with crispy bacon and dried shrimps. I have never had this dish before. It's salty and crispy and a good combination with long beans.
Rice noodles served along with crab meat green curry. A spicy traditional Thai taste, full flavour green curry and Thai herbs, I am sure for those who love Thai food will fall in love with this dish!
(Chakarm leaves shrimps curry)
Steamed jasmine rice topped with Crab meat omelette
Everything is totally yummy!
We slept well, all night we heard the sound of beach waves. In the morning, we went for a walk on the pristine beach...
From the private beach at La A na tu you can just see Khao Kalok very clearly!
For breakfast they offer an a la clarte menu with salad and fresh fruits buffet line. There are many choices on the food, coffee or tea menu.
A tasty choice of homemade waffles, pancakes, french toasted serve along with yogurt, jam, fresh milk or cereal
A selection of toasted white or whole wheat bread / served with butter and strawberry jam.
Eggs menu... with bacon, ham and sausages.
For the local food menu they have Pork or chicken porridge. / Steamed jasmine rice topped with thai style omelette with minced pork, or Steamed jasmine rice with pork or chicken stir fried with garlic and pepper served with a sunny side up egg.
In the afternoon we had a nice stay all day in our Tropical cottage by the sea, we loved our private whirlpool so much.
For our late meal we tried a few new dishes...
Rice noodle with fresh prawn (Rad na goong)
Deep fried sea bass steak with fish sauce.
Steamed Jasmine rice topped with Tiger prawn stir fry with garlic and pepper.
We end up our meal with our all time favourite menu Young coconut cake and the coffee! We recommend Cappuccino kahlua frappe and Iced americano.
La A Na tu Bed and Bakery Pranburi Prachuap Khiri khan another place that's well worth a visit. Nice and cozy bedroom with stunning silent view, You can feel the peace and chillaxing!

Is a little oasis of vegetation very peaceful yet further from civilization... you might need a bicycle or motorbike, which are both easy to rent
I've gone for both in the past but hired a driver in advance last time and it worked out well. Hailing a taxi at the airport is cheap but you might end up with an old banger!!
