My husband and I had the most incredible evening here last night. From arrival to departure, this place is world class. The cuisine is absolutely amazing - every bite a taste sensation. It doesn't get better than this - wonderful views of the stunning surrounding scenery. We will be back. What a privilege it was to spend the evening here.

Thanks for a wonderful night away Robbie and Christine. Our favourite course was the aubergine ravioli with feta and pine nuts although everything was wonderful. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were divine. Hopefully we won't leave it so long before we're back.

So many friends recommended The Quickenberry Lodge to us that we decided to visit for dinner, bed and breakfast at the end of our year long trip to NZ. It was, by far, the best accommodation and food combination. Greeted with tea and chocolate cake, we had a rest, a pre dinner drink and then a wonderful four course evening...

Four friends, myself included, spent one week at Quickenberry. We checked everywhere and it is undoubtedly the best accommodation in Canterbury. Close to all the club fields, Mt Hutt and heli skiing. The rooms are spacious, warm and extremely well furnished. The common area is a large living area with fireplace and vaulted ceiling. The food has been extraordinary, Robert...

My parents, my brother and our partners had an absolutely incredible stay at Quickenberry Lodge for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary celebration. The location is perfect; approximately 1h from Christchurch International Airport and 20 mins from the ski town of Methven. The hosts Christine and Robert made us feel so welcome and were exceptionally attentive at all times. The rooms...

Apart from the nice setting and the hospitality of Christine and Robert the gourmet cuisine prepared by Robbie most certainly highlight this visit. We fortunately stayed 2 nights. Quickenberry Guesthouse was recommended by our travel agent in Germany. It is only a one-hour drive away from Christchurch airport. Christine and Robert are very professional hosts. Christine welcomed us with a cold glass of wine. She gave us tips where to go. Room was large and comfortable. Diner and breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night....
