I stayed in Hotel Alpenhof in March of 2016 on an EF tour group with many of my high school friends. For people my age, this was a great place to stay on their first time to Switzerland. They could easily get outside and explore the gorgeous Swiss Alps. The owners of hotel were very friendly, recommended good places to...

The WiFi is slow where you got to go down to the first floor lounge to use, but why look at your glowing box phone when you've got stunning mountain views around. The food was great, even for Asians it was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast. The room had a musky carpety smell but once you open the door...

I stayed at Hotel Alpenhof in summer of 2015 with a group of students (EF tour). We all loved the hotel, the cozy rooms, and most of all the view of the mountains all around. We enjoyed hiking to the waterfall and enjoyed the quietness. The food was great as well (breakfast and dinner) and the staff very welcoming and...

The views around this hotel are remarkable. Staying at this hotel for the views alone is worth it. Add on the home-cooking from the owner and you will be amazed. The food that I had there (especially the soups) were some of the best of my recent trip. The rooms themselves are fairly small, but clean. The beds are soft...

Older B&B but had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. A basic room with a very small bathroom in our room. I think all rooms include a small balcony. Ours faced the Monastery across the road. Dinner nightly was good, breakfast was sparse. Free wifi was offered in the lobby only and was hit or miss. No...

Monastery across the street & mountains all around....majestic! Rooms were OK...beds are very small. Eclectic decor...very dated & odd. Staff was a bit rude at times....but meals were generous portions of comfort type foods!

I was here with my group of high school students. We arrived a little late (7pm), I'm the rain. The staff helped us get our bags to our rooms, so we could get our dinner. The dinner was absolutely fantastic. The rooms had balconies, and the students loved being able to hear the waterfall behind the hotel, the cow bells,...

stayed here for one night whilst travelling through Europe, tidy comfortable hotel at a reasonable cost, the restaurant was efficient and good. The bedroom was large with stunning views. Hotel was situated just down the road from cable car and ski camp.

This hotel is located in the town of Kerns about 30-40 minutes of Lucerne. The views here are amazing, plus the town is quiet and full of lovely people. The staff were very nice and helpful, and served excellent food. The bar accepts dollars, euros and Swiss frank for the same price, meaning if a beer is 5 Swiss frank,...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with a group of students. It's a cute town and a cute hotel. You open your windows and hear the cow bells! We had a room in the front near the street so we got to hear traffic ( both people and cars) but it wasn't too bad. There is no AC,...
