Great views across the valley to the ski areas. Comfortable rooms and very good restaurant. It's great when the chef discusses the menu with you and advises on the choice of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. The coordinates given take you to the middle of Cote d'Aime. Continue through the village and it's the last building...

We stayed one night in the Auberge as part of our father&son skiing trip. The rooms are very comfortable and clean; bathroom and WC are separated. The decoration is "rural Savoyard" with interesting old photos featuring different activities from the daily life of peasants. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The place is located ~30 min from the La...

5 of us needed a place to stop over for one night - we came across Auberge Du Cassiel by chance and fell in love with it when we arrived. The room was so quaint and adorable! It would be perfect for a quiet romantic get away or for a family (we had the Thiabold room). We ate at the...

The choice changes regularly and the home made cooking is done with finesse and creativity as well as great flavours. It is without doubt the best restaurant in the area. Annie and Jean Pierre are very welcoming and lovely hosts. You cannot do better than to eat here.

This place is great, reasonable and of the highest quality I have evervsern. The hosts are fantastic. Top place ,top people. Top notch . Try the hare terrine, and the strong prune liquior. The is our 8 visit and we'll be back for 2014. Everything is catered for.

Well, thank you Facebook! We needed a single night stay over after a long drive from the UK and before our actual holiday started. It is situated slightly up the hill from the main town of Aime in a typical mountain village. We arrived fairly late, with young children and needed food. The welcome could not have been more accommodating...

We went for Sunday lunch in a hot July day. Everyone was on the terrace including two French parties of 13 and 15 celebrating a baptism and a birthday. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service was excellent - but the food - superb! We had the set 29 euro menu and enjoyed everything. Interesting dishes, beautifully cooked...

Having been coming here for several years for summer lunches I really should have entered a review before because this is one of the most outstanding restaurants I have ever eaten in. Situated in picturesque alpine scenery, surrounded by beautiful wild flowers, you couldn't wish for a better setting. My motto is: the smaller the menu, the better the food....

We chose to stay here en route to Belle Plagne having driven from Glasgow. The accomodation was excellent - our family room had a lovely mezzanine area with two beds for our girls and was very tastefully furnished in a traditional regional style. There was lots of space and a well equipped kitchen area. Absolutely First Class. The restaurant was...

Situated on a twisty road up the hill from Aime and not that easy to find...but well worth the effort of getting there. The dining room and also the 2 bedrooms we booked were beautifully decorated, comfortable and warm. Unfortunately we arrived too late for a hot dinner but the owners put together an excellent soup and terrine meal for...
