Canyon Hotels & Resorts Boracay garners praise for its prime location, often celebrated for its direct mall access and convenience. Guests appreciate the unique amenities, including a free shuttle service, and commend the friendly staff, although there are occasional mentions of slow service. We are absolutely stunned with the level of service, room and facility. The staff are absolutely on point and very attentive with our request and assist us with everything we need to our comfort. We book a room here at Canyon Hotels & Resorts last minute exactly when we arrive in Boracay and they accommodate us and the check in process is smooth as butter. We will definitely stay here next time and will absolutely refer this place to our friends back in Australia. Thank you the kind amazing staff of Canyon Hotels and Resorts.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes walk to station 1 white beach. On the ground floor is a mall with all the necessary items for your beach trip. The price point is such a deal as this property have huge rooms. The bed is the best part. The best sleep I had outside home. Children will definitely love the pool.
Check in at 3pm but early check in can be arrange for a fee if room is already available. Luggage can be kept at their lobby. Housekeeping is excellent. Cleaning of rooms is upon request and their housekeepers are very detailed with their cleanliness. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in. Reception is efficient. Front desk staffs are helpful, typical Filipino hospitality. Breakfast is basic and they told me that improvements are in the offing. Hopefully this will not jack up their very good price point..We frequent Boracay as this is the BEST beach in the world. Will frequent this property for sure.

Our recent stay was truly wonderful. The staff's helpfulness created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was cleaned and surprising spaciousness. It shows that the housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The convenience of mall within added to the overall experience, making everything easily accessible. Despite a crowded lobby during check-in, the receptionists skillfully managed the situation, showcasing their professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction. Highly recommended hotel.

I stayed at this hotel from March 25 to March 28, as it is one of the newest hotels on the island. I anticipated that the facilities and service would be of the highest quality, but I was mistaken. Additionally, the hotel was advertised as being conveniently located next to a mall, but there were no other notable features or amenities.

1. The rooms are spacious but lack soundproofing, resulting in audible footsteps from outside, which made our stay uncomfortable.
2. The pool is large but only 4 feet deep, limiting its functionality.
3. The beach is more than a 10-minute walk away, contrary to the advertised claim of a 5-minute or less walk.
4. The breakfast was of poor quality. It was the worst breakfast I have encountered during my travels. If you are a morning person who enjoys starting your day with a satisfying breakfast, I recommend choosing a different hotel, as the breakfast provided was inadequate. I waited nearly 30 minutes for the staff to replenish the breakfast buffet. Guests expressed dissatisfaction with the management of the breakfast buffet, and this issue persisted throughout our stay. Consequently, on the third and fourth days, we opted to have breakfast at a buffet in Henann.

Please carefully consider your options before booking this hotel, as I would not recommend it to anyone I hold in high regard.

Where do I begin? I saw this hotel in Agoda but decided to directly book via their website.

I paid for the whole fee specified in the website, that is, good for 3 people, and 1 kid aged 12 years old. The room says "sleeps 4".

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told that we need to pay an additional fee of 800 per day (X 4 days = 3,200) coz my son, 12 years old, is already considered an adult.

I insisted that in the website, it asked for the age of my son and I put in 12 (see pic) under the "children" category.

One staff "explained" to me condescendingly, as if I dont know what I'm talking about, that the website is wrong and that they're gonna tell the one who takes care of the website to update information so and so. In fact, this guy, didn't apologize for the fact that their website information and rate and the front desk rate are INCONSISTENT. Instead, he said that extra charges are given (if applicable) when guests arrive at the hotel: "we tell them here at the hotel". Why would you do that? If indeed my son is not considered a kid anymore, why wasn't the extra charge added to the website when I was about to pay for the bill online? Why would they charge it when we are already at the hotel?

For a planner like me, I like to pay all hotel charges and plane charges prior to the trip so that I can budget and reserve my money for the food and other activities during the vacay.

But then, they wouldn't give the key to the room unless I pay the extra charges first. Oh well.

Also, the internet wasnt working for two days. The room phone wasn't working.

Location: Quiet. Convenient since theres a mall attached to the hotel.

General Mgr was accommodating. IT staff was efficient; he immediately checked the wifi connection when he came back from his leave. Housekeeping staff efficient and helpful.

The staff at the frontdesk was very rude and not accommodating especially the guy named Dezel. He should be fired truly. We arrived hoping to check in by 2pm. Since the website said 2pm is their check in time but Dezel told us that check in time is 3pm. When I said that it is not what’s stated on their website he said go ahead and show me. So I showed him and then he said that it’s wrong and they will change it. Not even an apology.
2nd, we booked two rooms with kids and they were not very accommodating with our request to have the rooms on the same floor. They said they are already full but when my husband asked again, they obliged.
3rd, when we were settling the breakfast, they said that we have to pay for the extra adult when the 2 rooms were supposed to cover for 4 adults. We were 3 adults and 2 kids. I told him I should be paying for the child instead since that is the extra head. Dezel then answered “fine, so we can finish this conversation already!”
4th, when we checked in, rooms were filthy. Full of dust and sand, the cabinets had a lot of dust. We had to make them sweep it again in which they saw that it was filled with dust. We waited until 3pm for a dirty room. They had to move us on another room because both rooms were filthy.
5th, make up room is also not done properly. They dont sweep the floor or wipe the tables even.
6th, limited variety on breakfast for a hotel
Poor customer service, no hospitality.
Only good thing about the place was that the room is spacious and accessible for transportation. The hotel needs to improve their service and train their staff members properly.

The room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel is overlooking a golf course surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. There are very convenient places to shop for food, groceries, clothing, and even have salons, and a pharmacy located within the bottom floors of the hotel. There is also a very nice restaurant located on the first floor. This hotel is located in a quieter area of Boracay but also convenient to take a ride to the main hub should anyone wants more activities day and night. Had a very good, relaxing stay at this hotel!

I stayed here for one night and the room was big, clean and comfortable. I had a patio door that goes straight to the pool. The pool was pretty big, but there was no shade so it is pretty hot to go swimming during the day. I went swimming about 8 o’clock at night, and the water was really warm.
Unfortunately, I did not have any hot water, but I did not bother to ask them to fix it because I was only there for the night. It is not on the beach, but it is pretty close to station one. You can walk from the hotel to white beach in about 10 minutes. There is also a hop on hop off stop in front of the hotel, in case you end up buying a day pass. Breakfast was not included. And it is adjacent to a small mall.

I initially booked a two-night stay at this property, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I immediately raised concerns about their terrible Wi-Fi connection, which was critical for my work. Instead of addressing the issue, the management dismissively explained that their property caters to leisure travelers, not those working remotely—an explanation that felt dismissive and unprofessional.

The manager, Mr. Zoleta, initially agreed to let us check out early and assured us that the cancellation policy would be waived for a refund, provided we coordinate with booking.com. However, when I contacted booking.com, they advised me to follow up directly with the property. I attempted to do so by calling Mr. Zoleta on the cellphone number provided, but the call was disconnected. I also sent multiple follow-up emails, as advised, but received no response.

For a commercialized property, this level of poor customer service is unacceptable. Managers should be proactive in resolving guest concerns, yet this experience showed a complete lack of accountability. Adding to my disappointment, I had previously recommended this property to a friend whose family was planning to stay here for an upcoming wedding. Given this subpar service, they’ve decided to cancel their booking.

Overall, this property’s dismissive attitude and lack of responsiveness have left a very poor impression. I cannot recommend it to others.

Avoid this property if you need reliable Wi-Fi or a manager who takes accountability and upholds professional standards.
