Very neat and well kept hotel facility with beautiful garden and frangipani and palm trees.
Rooms are primitive but clean, big beds with great huge moskito nets, good AC.
I had a seaview bungalow with nice view to the ocean and a small balcony, semi open air bathroom with a good water pressure shower.
Missing shelves in the bathroom and missing chair or furniture in very small room.
Breakfast basic, missing fruit - only watermelon and pineapple stored in the fridge and not freshly cut.
Very bad service at the restaurant facing the ocean with amazing view.
Staff very lazy and unfriendly except komang geck , he is new but has a beautiful aura and a smile, which comes from his heart which is for me more important than language skills, he was the only staff to come for service without having to call.
Overall great place, i give only four stars because of bad service in the restaurant.

The staff were so lovely, the view was insane- we saw dolphins many times from the pool, and if you like to surf this place is the one to go to! It’s right on a secret surf spot. The value for money is unbelievable.
Thank you so much for our 2 week stay.

An amazing location with 2 lovely swimming pools, a secret beach and incredible views. The rooms were clean and tidy and good value however our shower head was broken. The staff were friendly and Putu was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

WELL FOR CLOSE UP OVERVIEWS OF A PRIME SURFING SPOT AT A REASONABLE PRICE IT’S THE BEST I’VE SEEN…..

….in over 20 visits to BALI since 1975. However if panoramic outlooks are your thing, some of those mega-expensive cliff-side resorts in south mainland BALI give higher, wider vistas.

SECRET POINT HUTS is located at the south-west end of NUSA CENINGAN which is the smaller island jammed between compact NUSA LEMBONGAN and the big, high NUSA PENIDA, all part of BALLI.
Its low headland position gives a terrific outlook over the CENINGAN POINT (aka SECRET POINT/MAHANA POINT) surf break – you are only 150m from the take-off zone. You also get to gaze 80m to the next small headland where SECRET POINT HUT owned Mahana Point Warung and Cliff Jump is located (TRIPADVISOR has several reviews of this on its special BLUE LAGOON CLIFF JUMP page - although BLCJ is a separate and closed cliff jump nearby) – and back across the channel to adjacent NUSA LEMBONGAN. When swell is big and the tide down, waves often break right across the 1600m entrance of the channel. A spectacular sight, but tending to make surfing uncertain and a tad dangerous.

This is a lower midrange resort with 3 grades of accommodation – top down: double storey LUMBUNG (traditional Balinese rice barn) style, SUPERIOR SEA VIEW and ONE BEDROOM BUNGALOW. Seems to me the main difference between SUPERIOR SEA VIEW and ONE BEDROOM is the former being a little bigger and having uninterrupted views of both the nice pool area and the seaside action. I checked out a LUMBUNG – very nice and worth the extra if you are not a cheapskate like me. A CAVEAT: front row lumbungs have the best direct sea views: back row lumbungs may have partially blocked views.

My SUPERIOR SEA VIEW room was spacious, clean, with whisper quiet aircon and good lights. No TV or frig. The comfy queen bed had a mozzie net which wasn’t needed – the place was well sealed against the little devils. The good sized bathroom had fine hot water and one of those Japanese bidet toilet seats. Water was a bit brackish – the rapid infiltration of rainwater into this limestone island means most water is from bores, and the water table in coastal areas is close to sea level. However a shower was still refreshing. My balcony had nice oblique views of the sea and pool. This is a quiet area – the main noise was from the sea which is always nice – however I could hear people talking in the adjoining room at times. I got the impression my room was an upgraded flashpacker – whoever did the interior paint/tile/wood selection deserves a medal: this was the most attractive interior of the 9 places I stayed in this BALI trip – some considerably upmarket.

THE RESTAURANT was open sided and had the great views mentioned above. Food/drinks were priced only a little above budget restaurant levels, the menu had a good selection, service was pretty good, and dishes seemed okay to me (although I’m no gourmet). I thought the inclusive breakfast was great.

TIP: people wanting dining variety will find several resort restaurants and roadside warungs nearby.

THE INFINITY POOL is sweet – about 12mx5, it has that popular salty water (not sea water) which in this case was slightly tough on the eyes. The seaside rim is a great place to check out the nearby surf action, cliff-jumpers and ocean panorama. There seemed sufficient sun-lounges and a fair bit of shade.
Between pool and restaurant is a nice ocean-view seating area – I noticed day-trippers exploring CENINGAN from LEMBONGAN on motos sitting here after a swim and ordering food and drink. However MAHANA POINT WARUNG attracted a far bigger crowd of these people. It has a similar menu and prices to S P HUTS.

TIP: SECRET POINT HUT guests can charge MAHANA stuff to their room accounts and do the cliff-jumps free - naturally I had to give the jumps a go.

Steps near the pool lead down to a SMALL BEACH which disappears at full tide. A second set of steps to the left leads to another patch of sand.
Take care swimming off these beaches – I noticed a good RIP CURRENT running along the rocks and around Mahana Headland. I went with the flow – once around the headland it had done its job and disappeared (rips take wave swash back “out the back” – surfers use them often as an easy way to the take-off zone).

TIP: if caught in a rip, SWIM SIDEWAYS (rips are narrow): if you are EXHAUSTED, GO WITH THE FLOW (even a big rip will not go far) and tread water (a minimal effort activity) until you recover strength.

At low tide a lot of rock is exposed off the sand – great for people who like fossiking in rock pools.

STAFF is criticised in some reviews as unfriendly and dour. Head guy BIG PUTU was jovial and efficient. 2 I/C WAYAN was a bit of a hard case but a good worker. Other staff friendly and effective. I found no problems with English.

RESORT TRANSFERS are good. Transport is sent down to the Yellow
Bridge between LEMBONGAN and CENINGAN (too narrow for non-motos) to pick you up.

TIP: come to LEMBONGAN from mainland Bali on one of the many commercial fast boats which include free transport from your south BALI resort or airport to SANUR "pier" and free transfers on LEMBONGAN to the Yellow Bridge (the same deals work going out). If you use ANY slowboat or public speedboats free transport on the mainland and LEMBONGAN is not includes – you will have to negotiate with the venal transport mafia and may end up spending as much but using much more time and nervous energy.

I was already staying on the other side of LEMBONGAN. WAYAN gave me a lift across to CPHs on the back of a moto gratis. On exit he took me down near the yellow bridge to a fast boat going across to NUSA PENIDA which BIG PUTU had organised for about half the online-suggested price.

Whether a guest or day-tripper, SECRET POINT HUTS is a great place to spend time. Enjoy your visit gang.

This is not for everyone but these beach bungalows are perfect for surfers looking for the best surf break in Lembonghan or those just wanting to relax and forget about life for a while. Gorgeous bungalows overlooking the sea with awesome bathrooms. You need to be agile to get up and down the stairs and only cold water showers. The staff are very accomodating and will accompany you for a surf, whip you up a nasi goreng, loan you a motor bike or find you a nice cold bintang whenever you need it. Do yourself a favour

The location is perfect and the staff is nice two, normaly i would give it 5 stars but there were bed bugs in the bed, little unwelcome guests. The spots on the sheets are a warning sign. We stayed at room number. They do use plastic matrass covers, witch is good.
overal a fabulous experience without much sleep..

I stayed 2 nights on `18th May 2014 in the twin hut.The Hut appeared very clean, staff friendly, location fantastic with private beach but unfortunately the sheets had small rusty stains which should have been a warning to me. I was bitten on first nite on legs and arms, alerted staff who changed bedding and sprayed bed but unfortunately the next night I was further bitten all over back, stomach. This ruined my 2 week holiday. The bed needed to be fumigated as I have now been told.

The turmoil and crowds of Legian sort of was disappointing during my first few days in Bali - but when I arrived at Secret Point Huts I discovered all I had expected Bali to be, and more. Its a bit of long haul to get out there... a van ride to the fastboat area, the 40 minute fastboat ride, the truck ride across Nusa Lembongan to the Yellow Bridge, the walk across the Yellow Bridge and then (finally) the truck ride out to Secret Point. But it is very much worth it.
The accommodations were simple but very clean, air conditioned, each has its own deck. Many have a view of the ocean. The main sound is the constant roar of the ocean and some birds. (although we did have a noisy cat in the area for a night or two, I trust that has been dealt with!)
The staff are all very friendly and helpful and all try their best to cater to their customers and provide whatever is wanted.
There are many good hikes in close proximity, such as to the hidden beach and - of course - Blue Lagoon, which is literally a 5 minute walk away. I saw turtles, quite a few, in it several times.
The restaurant is open from 7am till 10pm every day and provides a good variety for each meal of the day. My room rate included breakfast and the offerings were good - eggs, bacon, toast, fruit and coffee with juice. I also had lunch and dinner there several times and was happy with each meal. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared, the service is reasonably fast - of course, with a view like that, I didn't mind sitting there for a while anyway. The only improvement I would suggest is that the staff NOT bring the salad, main course and desert to the table all at once - best wait until I've finished on course, then bring the next one!
There are many good eating places within close walking distance on the road back towards Yellow Bridge, none were disappointing.
The beach is small, but very nice for swimming, depending on the tide. At low tide, it is a fascinating area to explore as one can walk a long ways.
The surf is huge, and consequently draws some great surfers, fascinating to watch while having coffee in the restaurant.
The two infinity pools are well kept up and there are a lot of loungers to relax in, when one is not hiking or swimming. The staff are good at circulating to bring food or drinks if wanted.
I spent 5 days and would definitely, will definitely, go back for longer.
By the way, the dogs are friendly ad add to the atmosphere of this beautiful place.

Yes. All the waters other than bottled drinking water in Ceningan, Penida, Nusa Lembongan contain salt. They got their water from bores, say 50 fresh 50 salt water?
