This lovely one bedroom villa has everything you need to have a perfect holiday on Nusa Ceningan. The design is inspired by the traditional Balinese building with a touch of asian elements by the heavy use of tropical plants in the garden, wooden structure, and bamboo pieces. It comes with a spacious lap pool and outdoor Balinese style Gazebo, allowing you to fully enjoy this tropical island, sitting under the electric fan and gazing into the star at night. The room has all the modern equipment you need, including a flatscreen TV, kettle, minibar, bathrobe, slippers, and walk-in closet and a spacious outdoor bathroom with rainforest shower. The bathroom is specially designed for the tropical weather of Ceningan, as it's half open and perfectly ventilated and connected with the amiable sea breeze. All the rooms are situated on the cliff of the Blue Lagoon Ceningan, having the unparalleled view over the magnificent natural wonder.

First and foremost the view from the public pool and restaurant is just stunning! It’s very peaceful and we loved our time there. We spent 4 days there and loved it.

Here are the things to be aware of:

1.) They do an okay job cleaning the rooms. We had to request toilet paper, and also asked them to clean the room as sometimes all they did was make the bed. For instance found a dead crab in our pool. And had to remind them to toss our trash cans.

2.) They recommend the scooter rental and adventure company next door. DO NOT use this company for tours. Scooter prices are expensive compared to Bali but not much of a choice. We did the private tour and paid 3 million, and it was a total disaster and my partner almost got killed.

3.) Food is good for one or two meals but try other spots.

4.) the shuttle only goes till 4pm after that it’s a 40 minute walk to the yellow bridge

5.) they pick you up on the other side of the bridge so if it’s raining be prepared to get wet.

6.) water is via two bottles and after that we were charged for additional water. Not sure why

7.) they don’t do laundry but do send it out, just remind them to get it back ;).

8.) The pool gets cloudy by mid day but that’s why you have a private pool.

9.) they do not have a spa/massage center

Other than that great place.

We stayed at Blue Lagoon Avia Villas for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon holiday and it had one of the best views we’ve seen of the Blue Lagoon of Lembongan.

It is a beachfront resort. They do not have an actual beach to swim but with a bike or a shuttle, they can take you to the closest beaches around. The closest beach is Secret Point which was really nice with a swing and a hammock. Its a 5 minute walk. The hotel that looks upon Secret Point had really nice food! Bike rides could be dangerous if you do not know how to control the bike but are so fun and worth it. There is no internet connection when you leave the hotel so always keep a printed map with you. The reception can assist with that. For a sweet escape for a couple of days from Bali, this is the place to be.

However, for a 4-star hotel, they could improve some of their services. The food isn’t that great. The breakfast menu is very limited and is a la carte. We had a fruit platter in our room (outside all the time) which only had bananas and an unidentified green fruit. They never changed it or added more variety. The toilet is semi-open which caused insects to enter the bungalow easily (but thats an issue everywhere in Bali).

Newly built complex with lots of privacy and cute little private villas with private pools.
Staff was very friendly and location was great and peaceful but easy to reach rest of the island and Lembogan by motorbike within a few minutes only.
Can highly recommend Blue Lagoon Avia Villas!! :-)

We spent 4 nights here as a break from Bali.
The villas are very nice and the area reminded us of Bali years ago.
We ate at four different places within walking distance. All were nice and well priced.
Secret beach was a short walk away and great for a swim although it can be a bit rough.
On arriving at our villa I noticed the sign in the bathroom to not flush toilet paper but to put in in the bin provided. On opening the bin I noticed it was not lined with a plastic bag and had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. A band aid was stuck to the inside.
The hand soap at the basin was empty so we left it with the lid off thinking the cleaner would get the message. It was left this way the next day so I filled it from the shower soap myself. I needed to ask before the shower soap was refilled.
Breakfast is not included in the room cost. Even though you pay extra you only get to choose from a limited menu and you can’t have coffee and juice, only one or the other. Makes the experience feel very budget and not high end. Considering you can walk to other places don’t pay for the breakfast here.
Our villa backed on to a local road. Not a huge problem for us as we get up early but it felt more like a cultural experience than a relaxing get away.
The hot water lasts for about 75% of one shower. It heats up again quickly but a gap is needed before the next person showers.
Overall not the worst experience of my life but not the pleasure I had hoped it would be.

As an expat currently living in Indonesia, I was lucky to be able to visit Blue Lagoon Avia this month and score an incredible deal. The views here are just stunning, especially sunset. My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff, especially Bagus, were so accommodating to our questions and requests. The menu has a few vegan options, but the kitchen also made a vegan curry by request one night. I’d love to return with visiting family or friends one day!

Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay at these beautiful villas more! From the air bnb site it looked like a resort...but when we got there the feel was much more akin to a private boutique hotel. Every detail at this place was meticulous, private pool in each of the rooms as well as a pool club overlooking one of the most spectacular views in the world. It is truly the bluest of lagoons and quite spectacular. We didn’t get bored of hanging out at the restaurant and enjoying the spectacular views. Must see! Even if to visit the restaurant and beach club for the day.

We chose this hotel for the views as the views are amazing - we had a sea view and it was incredible from the private pool area at our villa.
You can see turtles from the restaurant area which was amazing!
However, we were extremely disappointed with the service at this hotel. and didn't feel the staff were representative of what we have experienced in the rest of Bali over a month.
Firstly, we ordered room service and we left it at the door which took them 24 hours to remove this.
There are a lot of staff but not a lot of work happening. Some of the staff at restaurant and front desk were helpful, but this was not consistent.
For the price you pay for the villas I don't think the service is good enough.
The villa itself was nice with an outside bathroom. Villa is quite small but spacious bathroom and nice outdoor pool with sun bed.
Again, I had to ask staff if they could clean bedroom after mid-day as we needed new towels and toilet paper etc.
Good location - but need to rent a scooter as no taxis on the island and not very walkable. Which we love anyway!

Outstanding stay at Blue Lagoon Avia Villas, my partner and I had four nights/days of bliss.
The sea front villa with private pool was clean and beautifully laid out, the bathroom was spacious.
While the resort and location make this an amazing memorable trip, the staff need recognition, they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the Ceningan side of the yellow bridge at our pick up point. Massive respect to Elda and the resort staff nothing was a problem and the staffs attitude was ever so helpful and you were always greeted with a smile, special thanks to the chefs, the food was presented and cooked to perfection, there were plenty of other places to go and eat but I just wanted to try everything on the menu as each dish I had was first class.
Had the best time, many thanks Blue Lagoon Avia Villas, we will be back. 🫶

The location is gorgeous, perked on the cliff with Nusa Ceningan’s top destination, the Blue Lagoon, right under the property.

The villa is really clean and pretty; equipped with such a cozy bed, a beautiful plunge pool and patio, and also a lovely semi-outdoor bathroom.

The staff provided such a charming hospitality and the food was excellent. They have a floating breakfast service as well, which we found to be quite a lovely experience.

It was a great experience for us. We would definitely love to recommend this place and revisit one day.

Wow, what a fabulous location! One could just sit at the restaurant and admire the lagoon all day. Never seen such a brilliant view of the ocean from any location we have stayed so far. The multiple hops that we had to take from Sanur beach to finally reach the property was all made worth by the brilliant view of nature from the resort.

Staff were friendly and patient. There was some confusion around the billing during check in but they did not make us wait while they sorted it out. Since we had to check out early the next morning, the restaurant provided boxed continental breakfast for us. This was done on time as promised, thus not causing any delays for our check out. Thanks to the staff and restaurant for taking care of the same.

About the property: Pool villas were amazing. The salt water pool seemed to be designed for longer baths but the water taste made it slightly weird. The room was comfortable though the AC behind the bedpost was not very effective. Bathroom was beautiful but do watch out for tiny steps on the floor as they are tricky to spot. Restaurant is pricey but food was really tasty. Swimming pool and the view beyond is picturesque.

Bike rental available right next to the reception is a plus. Also, there is a cliff at walkable distance from the reception. This is a must do for nature lovers as the views of the lagoon were breathtaking from every rock that we stood on. Overall a very good stay for 1 night.

can anybody help me with the details how to get there from the airport? thanks
Answer from Natasha S

There isn’t an airport on nusa lembongan. You’ll need to get a boat to nusa lembongan and then walk across the bridge to nusa ceningan. Best thing to do is get a taxi from the boat and ask them to take you all the way there because Avia is at the top of several hills on nusa ceningan.

Hi, it depends on the villa and in order to keep privacy inside the villa the fence is high enough that you have to stand up to see. That said, they’re incredible. My wife and I are here now and completely blown away. There are plenty of places to pull up a lounge chair and a cocktail or beer and enjoy the view with no one bugging you.
