Detailed Reviews
I was very impressed with the Airport Tourist Villiage, we stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, my husband, myself and it 1 year old. The price was affordable and the free airport transfers were fantastic. The accommodation has portacots available for no extra charge when booked direct with the company. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, I was pretty impressed with the standard of cleanliness throughout the accommodation including common areas - bbq and games rooms.
I would happily stay here again. There was an IGA ( supermarket) within easy walking distance of the accommodation, cafes and takeaway food options. The kitchen was well equipped.

The Airport Tourist Village clearly acts as an accommodation for transit visitors as well as construction workers, although the areas appear to be quite defined.
Transit travelers are accommodated in spacious apartment style rooms that consist of a bedroom, bathroom, lounge area and kitchen.
The Bedroom is of a re, containing a very comfortable sofa, reasonable size and contains a large comfortable bed as well as providing considerable closet and storage space.
The lounge area is spacious, containing, apart from some occasional furnishings and nice artwork, a very comfortable sofa as well as a dining table and chairs.
The kitchen is spacious and is well supplied with kitchenware and complimentary beverages.
The bathroom is of a reasonable size, but the shower itself is quite small, meaning that the knocking of elbows while washing becomes inevitable. While towels, bathmat and complimentary toiletries are supplied, face cloths are not.
Wi-Fi connection was existent but erratic.
Located on a bus route enabling residents to reach local train stations and a five-minute walk from a small local shopping centre which includes several dining options.

Our studio unit had been recently renovated and was in excellent condition. The bed was really good, and it was quiet, We arrived after dark, and it did take some time to find our unit, as we got lost in the grounds of the Best Western Hotel, which is located right next door, and adjoins the property.
If you require transport to from the hotel and use their shuttle, you need to book it 24 hours in advance, and at $30, is quite expensive. So we just used an Uber, which was about $20 each way, and was there on less than three minutes
Useful and reasonably priced if you're transiting though Tullamarine

Attwood village accommodation
We stayed at the Airport Tourist Village Melbourne on the night of July 31, 2024. While the rooms were nice and the facilities were clean, we encountered a significant issue with the heating. The heater in our room did not work properly, making the room very cold even with all the available blankets. This was particularly concerning as we had our two young children with us.
Due to this, we decided to cancel our upcoming booking for August 5 and have opted for different accommodation to ensure our children stay warm.Â
The staff was responsive and polite, but unfortunately, the heating situation made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.

As our flight home was at 6am we wanted to stay near the airport. I looked at various and this looked perfect to meet the needs of 3 people and was much cheaper than a hotel.
We arrived just after 2pm we were allocated cabin number 1 assume because we were getting the shuttle bus at 3am!!
We had a walked down to the shops for our evening supplies, the cupcake shop was lovely, we picked up some wine at the grocery store
It was lovely to sit out on the porch in the afternoon sunshine watching the planes take off
We all had an early night the beds were most comfortable, I'd of been happy if we could have stayed longer!!
The shuttle bus was on time, brilliant way to spend out last night in Australia, would highly recommend

Only stayed one night here before early flight departure. Great clean modern room, amenities are fabulous, bed comfy, bathroom nice and bright great shower. Hairdryer very handy and sift towels. Kitchen is perfect with coffee pod machine. Only drawback was the noise from neighbours we could hear them all night walking around and opening doors and cupboards, talking...hard to sleep. Ensure you book shuttle at least 24 hrs before...no ifs or buts 😩

Following a stressful experience the night before at Melbourne airport. This fabulous location was located by my companies administration team.
Set in a stunning valley location in West Meadows Atwood. Arrived and Yolanda immediately provided the necessary smile and professionalism I needed to lift the gloom.
The unit was immaculately maintained, yet more importantly it had an air of calm.
I heartily recommend this location as it offers much more than what I’ve stated.

Drove 6 hours to Melbourne and booked a room to use for a few hours to rest and freshen up with a shower before a long haul flight. Upon showering there was no warm water and the cold just let out a few drops. Not enough to shower in, which is the main reason for the booking. Contacted the park with no answer, so I left 2 messages to call me back and help. No reply again. Had to leave for the airport. Got a text message an hour later to say there were thunderstorms (no there wasn’t) and water had been restored. I replied to that text to say I was disappointed I didn’t get to shower and again no reply. I get that unforeseen things happen, but I expect courtesy and fairness. I paid for facilities I didn’t get. The room itself was modern and clean so 2 stars for that. Bad customer service though overrules a nice room. Won’t be back.

Great little cabin, perfect for 2 people. The cabin was well stocked. The beds weren't very comfortable but the convenience of the accommodation to the airport is great. The village has good amenities for families too.
And the shuttle bus to the airport is great, and we were able to leave our car at the village during our holiday.

Do they have a luggage storage space after we check-out while waiting for our flight departure time?
Not something I have done. But staff seem pretty accomodating - just ask.
Hi,
All the above are correct. You could also order home delivery as you have eating area in your room.
Regards Diane
