At this moment I have two lodge/cabins that have two bedrooms per lodge/cabin. Each lodge/cabin can be set up as two king beds or four king singles and a fold out sofa that works as a double. One of the cabins is handicap friendly with an extra bathroom to accommodate. The views from the accommodation are second to none, including Morton Bay, Glass house mountains and waterfalls.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The most breath-taking views! Stayed at Inspiration of Understanding and exceeded expectations. Appreciated the amazing service - Mel was an absolute delight and Dean was very helpful. You will love the attention to detail, very comfy bed and waking up to magnificent sunrise! We dined at Ocean Views Estate for dinner and lunch at Birches resto which complimented our getaway just beautifully. Very special place and cannot recommend enough!

This modern cabin with a difference is awe inspiring from the moment you drive on to the property. Whether you're sitting at the outdoor bar table or gazing through the floor to ceiling single pane windows at the panoramic views of the valley below or the mountains and ocean in the distance, you won't want to look away... Or leave!!! Waking up in the middle of the night with the stars and moon glistening through your bedroom window makes the midnight loo run all worthwhile and so incredible that you don't want to go back to sleep 🤣 You can do as much or as little as you like. We enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Ocean View Winery only 5km from Worldsaway Retreat... There's even a local private car service for a fee if you prefer a few extra drinks at the winery. The cabin comes with everything you need including complimentary tea, coffee and milk. There's no TV so bring an iPad/laptop if you enjoy a movie to relax. The cabin although open to the surrounding nature, is very secluded and private. Thanks to the owner, Dean who is super friendly. We could not recommend this retreat any higher if we tried... We will be back... really soon.

We stayed in the Lovers and Dreamers cabin which was just fantastic where the views during the day were nothing short of fantastic and at night just perfect. If you want to get away from the hum drum and just relax in the perfect surroundings this is the place. We were met by the hosts who were extremely helpful and welcoming. The place name says it all - worlds away and yet so close to Brisbane.

We picked this place during the weekend of our wedding to get ready. All the girls stayed in Inspiration of Understanding Cabin, and boys stayed in Lovers and Dreamers Cabin. The views were simply stunning of the Glass House Mountains. To add to that, Fiona and Dean were amazing hosts. They arranged transport for the girls from the cabin to the driveway entrance for them to be picked up. Couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Me and my wife always wanted to go back, so we're going back there for our First Year Wedding Anniversary.

Our accommodation was in the camping area. There are three great sites Heaven (the highest site), Stars (middle site) and clouds, the lowest and closest to the amenities block. We were on the stars site. All sites are powered with water, a fire pit with free wood and have a great view and are very private from other sites and the cabins. The amenities block is very clean and has a shower, toilet, fridge, washing machine, dryer & ice machine. To access the site you definitely need a 4wd and if you are towing a camper trailer you will definitely need low range as it is quite steep and a little tricky to access but was well worth the effort as the views are to die for and at night time the stars are so clear and great to watch the suburban lights. We were there on New Years Eve and it was great to watch the fireworks in different areas. Fiona was a great host and was helpful with information about the property. We look forward to returning to Worldsaway retreat soon.

Ideal for a private, peaceful or romantic getaway, close to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. A very special place - you'll never get sick of the view. It is so well designed with beautiful finishes, gorgeous artworks and everything you need - all you need to do is bring the food and wine! I booked on a whim after seeing it on Instagram and I am so glad I did - I'll be heading back for sure when the rat race gets too much again. Thank you Fiona, Dean and Harry the dog for sharing your beautiful part of Queensland.

(I'm going to try and post photos that haven't been posted yet). I was gifted this trip from my boss and can't be more grateful. I'm quite a stressed out person and struggle to relax, same with my partner. Two nights here really helped us actually relax for once. The service began even before we arrived. Fiona was easy to contact via phone and I was able to discuss things like whether I should take a small car or a four wheel drive (small car is fine!). Upon arrival we were greeted by Fiona and Harry (owner's dog!), we were shown around with details on firepits, cooking, media/projector are and etc. After that, we were left to our alone time and had a fantastic time. All the photos posted here are fantastic and show exactly what it was like. Theres a small bridge that Fiona showed us, it was great for sitting on whilst drawing, drinking coffee on and listening to water trickle down the rocks. We weren't sure on the cooking facilities there and we wanted to stay in rather than eating at the vineyards close by. I'm glad we didn't as we had pretty much everything we needed for cooking. We were able to make pancakes, bacon, pizza's (with pizza stones and professional pizza cutters and all!). I was really impressed by this. The hammocks and bean bags on the deck were fantastic to lay in whilst listening to the sounds of nature. Overall, amazing stay. Will be back and recommending to all friends/family. Thank you so much. - Relaxed jelly

We were up from Brisbane for a family wedding nearby. Our 2 night stay was fantastic! The million dollars views of the Glasshouse Mountains from the deck was the perfect accompliament to a relaxed dinner. Our 2 bedroom cabin came with a fully equipped kitchen, beautifully set up lounge and 2 bathrooms. The bathroom off the kitchen / lounge is set up for disability access. There is no tv or wifi access in the cabin but there is an outdoor entertainment area that caters for watching movies. We will be back to explore the walks in and around the property. A big thanks to Fiona for all of her help in making our stay awesome.

A retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We felt 10 years younger when we left. Breathtaking views of the Glass House Mountains and Morten Bay. The cabins are extremely comfortable and fully self-contained. There is an entertainment deck where you can sit and watch a DVD, or just chill out. Some of the most spectacular sunrises we have ever seen. Very eco-friendly We will come back

We stayed in the Lovers and Dreamers cabin between 4 of us. From the moment we arrived we felt super relaxed. Arrived in time to watch sunset on the balcony. You could not ask for a better view. Fiona gave us lots of useful information and the cabin has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We went to Dayboro to get some supplies of food and drinks (I recommend doing this before you get to the cabin) and we had a BBQ the first night. Next morning we did the hike Fiona suggested on the property. We found this easy as we did it in less than an hour. Relaxed on the hammocks and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We wanted to go to Ocean View winery for lunch but it was booked out for 2 days, so make sure you book ahead. We did end up going for just a few drinks in the afternoon. We loved the stay at the retreat, it was exactly what we needed! Amazing views and we felt super relaxed the entire stay. Highly recommend this property!
