We had a great powered site alongside ablutions up front of park. Very windy so use your guy ropes. No freezer in camp kitchen so grab ice from nearby IGA. Comfortable camp kitchen with all amenities. WIFI hardly needs a mention these days, and did not disappoint. Inlet for a swim with small children. Walking distance to Tavern (no meals Mon and Tues) and Chinese (dinner after 4pm)

Stumbled across this caravan park on our way back from Bruny Island, perfect spot to stop over heading to or from the island. The powered/unpowered sites have the best location backing right on to the beach. The ammenities are also clean & spacious. The owners have done a great job with this park, we are so glad we had the chance to spend a night here

This park is adjacent to the beach, with a playground and shops close by. The facilities were very clean and the grounds well maintained. We stayed in a budget one bedroom cabin and were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfortable furnishings. The camp kitchen was welcoming and clean and suitably furnished with a lounge and tv. We’ll be going back.

We stayed here with our caravan on our way to Bruny Island as the ferry is only 10 mins away. Located beside the beach with walking tracks, easy access to supermarket and butcher etc. Amazing camp kitchen (with wood heater, TV, fridges, hot plates, microwave, couches, tables etc) so great on a cool evening to nestle in. The facilities were spotless. Beach is just over the fence. The female host was friendly and we were able to choose our site as it was quiet on that day. Highly recommend.

My husband and I spent three nights in a studio cabin which is a perfect size for couples. The cabin was extremely clean with crisp new bed and bathroom linen. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking our own meals with tea and coffee supplies provided. The park is in a beautiful location next to snug beach and the gardens beautifully maintained. Throughout our stay the park was peaceful despite being heavily booked. We didn’t get to meet the owners but are very appreciative of their hospitality in accommodating us at their cabin and caravan park.

If you want luxury go elsewhere. In the outback finding accomodation is difficult as everyone is holidaying within their state borders. But if basic clean accomodation Is acceptable, go to Lynchies. Owner Allan loves the outback and will go to any lengths to share his incredible property. He loves to yarn, lent us fishing rod, tackle and worms and directed us to the river. It was so beautiful ,peaceful and relaxing, we were tempted to cancel our trip to Broken Hill in stay longer. Only thing missing were the fish!
Thank you Allan for a lovely day and we will return.

Arrived here in our camper van (small van which we sleep in)
This place I would not recommend to anyone if you are not in a self contained camper with your own toilet, shower, kitchen facilities etc.
The facilities within the park were very dirty. The female showers were full of sand and lots of mould and soap scum growing In grout lines. Lime scale build up on some of the shower heads meant water pressure was not very good in the shower as well as one shower head broken.
Male toilets STUNK and were FILTHY with limescale and mould residue within the showers and a broken shower head and cracked tiles. Far from any sort of public health standard for a facility that serves so many people.

Dog poo on grass area that had not been cleaned up, be careful not to stand in it on the way to the toilet at night!

This place could have a lot of potential to be a great park as it’s location is nice but unfortunately is let down by the beach which has a lot of rubbish along the fence line met with lack of property upkeep, cleanliness to the main ammenities and care by the owners who are unfriendly and disengaging.

After travelling Tasmania as well as many other states in Australia this would have to be one of the most unclean parks that I have stayed in, what a shame.

Sorry Snug Beach Caravan Park but our stay with you was not pleasant.

The is no real excuse for all of these problems and it is unusual for us to get a bad review based on cleanliness. The park has been very full and the cleaning staff very busy. We will look at having the amenities cleaning more than once a day during this busy period to prevent this happening again.

Lovely caravan park. Stayed in a water view cabin which was very comfortable and well maintained. Check in and out was seamless and property was clean. Nothing luxurious - would stay again. As with all caravan parks expect lots of people moving around - but room itself felt very private.
Laundry is 4x$1 coins for a wash then same again for a dry, however clothes lines and legs are also provided.

A caravan park that doesn’t feel like a caravan park. It feels more like a warm friendly place to come and hang out with the family. Nice big level grass sites surrounded by nature. Views of the water and good overall layout. Clean, very well maintained and perfect location for the kids with access to the water just a stone’s throw away.

Walking distance to the local shops and playground. Camp kitchen was warm and cozy every single night with a fire going and amenities were clean.

Rent a fire pit for $10 which gets delivered to your site and the family will have a blast sitting round the campfire.

We had a lovely time here and the staff was lovely. And don’t forget to say good day to the Park’s Ambassador Mate on your way in…

We camped for two nights at $30 per night. With clean showers, toilets, laundry and a travellers community hub, we were treated with a fabulous stopover.

Positioned close to the beach, and an IGA Supermarket just up the road.

Well worth your time to stay!
