We stayed in the barn conversion which was very well equipped with everything you need. Penelope made lovely breakfast every morning with plenty to eat. We loved all of the animals and really enjoyed our peaceful 3 night stay. Many thanks to Penelope and David.

Just a great one night stay. Very elegant and peaceful. Terrific breakfast, entertained by Hanks the dancing peacock, who put on quite a show, performing his amazing dances for the entire breakfast.also enjoyed meeting the alpacas and those carpet like sheepdogs. Heritage listed buildings topped it all off. Thanks David and Penelope!

Hi I’m Rhett. I’m a slightly grumpy,a little lazy 11 year old Boarder Collie. For a couple of days last week I had to try and organise my humans to find somewhere to stay between moving houses. The humans had no chance of boarding me out so they had to search for somewhere that would accept them along with me. Turns out they found a little piece of heaven right there under the Bowen bridge. The owners David and Penelope welcomed me and my three humans with open arms. First inspection it was great. Warm, welcoming and comfortable. Another animal was proudly perched up on a fence talking away. Humans seemed to like it so great all round. The night was nice and peaceful and slept well. Mum and dad human were upstairs and mum absolutely loved the pillows. Little (well not so little now) human stayed downstairs with me. Geez can he snore!! Next morning Little human took me for a walk. We went for a walk around the grounds and HOLY MOLEY there were these other animals. A mix of a couple of animals I recon. Look a bit like long necked sheep. Had a brief stare down - I won!!! Back to my room and all three humans deserted me. Came back absolutely raving how awesome Breakfast all included.. Our second night was just as good. I loved it, my humans want to come and stay again. They don’t want to think they are coming without me.

Hi, Rett. Bark, bark. This is Champ and Bob. The pulis. Remember? We notice ya mentioned the Alpacas and that Peacock, but not us. Ah, well. Ow are ya, mate? We borrowed the keyboard while our humans're out. Heh, heh. Good fun. Great to hear from ya. Glad ya had a good time. We're getting back to ya 'cos we don't get emails from other dogs very often. Heh, heh. Had a long excursion today, gonna have to lie down soon. This is taking longer than expected 'cos we're arguing about who's typing. Anyway, many thanks for the kind things you say. Our humans say they feed off good things like wot you said. Happy New Year. Stay well. Arf, arf, arf! C/B.
