THE BEST and most pleasant place I found after 7 week journey in Indonesia!! Staying in bungalow no. 2 built in traditional bamboo style, with beautiful view on sea, with relaxing bed on terrace, meeting helpfull staff speaking good English together with enjoying special balinese kitchen prepared only on their ceremony time (Jukut Urrab, balinese green leave vegetable with freshly...

PROS: -Authentic bamboo huts near the ocean (there is a wall separating the rooms from the actual beach). -The hotel's Laughing Buddha restaurant offers jamu (traditional Balinese medicinal drink made from various herbs). CONS: -VERY far from Amed - to get anywhere, like when we wanted to eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel's Laughing Buddha, we had to...

Dear Severino, like the owner of this place I have to react on your unpleasant review saying that we really do not have any bed bugs here! Our place is clean and we try our best to keep it like this all the time. We had a lot of customers staying in the same room as you did, before you...

We absolutely loved the two nights we spent at Meditasi it was so peaceful and the people which run the place are very friendly and welcoming. This is the place to stay to get away from the tourist crowds and do nothing but relax if you need action this isn't the place for you. The rooms were basic but clean...

My friend & I did not actually book a stay at Meditasi, but I guess that says something about how welcoming and kind the owner (Smiling Buddah) and his staff are. We had made friends with another group of travelers, and they were incredibly exited to show us just how beautiful the accommodation they had found for themselves was, not...

I felt immersed in authentic Bali and pure nature during my stay. Showering with the sun kissing my shoulders through the bougainvillea and falling frangipani flowers, waking up to the sun rising over the crashing ocean, the incredible reef just steps outside of the immaculate garden - bliss! The staff are so beautiful, it was such a joy to stay...

My beach front bungalow (No 5) was wonderfully located - view of the ocean over the fence, lots of air and light, a heavenly day bed on the deck, 2 bedrooms which was a surprise but very convenient. The plumbing has certainly seen better days but everything worked. Restaurant also well located, facing the gateway to the beach, and the...

What a fantastic little place. Owned and managed by the charismatic 'Smiling Buddha' I booked one of the sea view rooms for 3 nights. (No.7) Throughout my stay I was given a warm, polite welcome by all of the staff on site. The room itself was simply stunning. My 'organic' shower (I.e cold running water from a bamboo pipe in...

My fiance and I loved staying at the Meditasi Bungalows. We had a bungalow with sea view and woke up with the sunrise, which was simply beautiful. I also enjoyed their bana pancake for breakfat and their yoga classes! Made, the young man at reception has been exceptionally helpful and kind. He organised a scooter, snorkling equipment, a boats tour...

This hotel, lost in the middle of nowhere, is a little paradise. The bungalows are large and they overlook the sea and a beach where the fishermen arrive every morning. The food is exceptionnal and you will find traditionnal balinese dishes that you cannot find elsewhere "yukut".

I happened across Meditasi when searching for a quiet place of peace on this remote but increasingly developed stretch of coastline. A few short km from the bustle of Amed, Meditasi has a handful of beautiful bunglows on the beach, each with lots of privacy, serene views of the sea, your own little garden and porch with a bed. Whether...
