The room was comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. the locatiaton is great for visting southampton. Unfortuantely I had two lunches and a dinner here and the vegitarian choice was basically pasta... so underimpressed on that front. Shame really spoily an otherwise satisfactory stay.

.....the bed! Stayed one night joining sister who was staying for five days. Lovely hotel, clean, nice friendly staff especially the restaurant manager. Superb food in a lovely restaurant which unfortunately lacked tablecloths which made it more cafe like and the breakfast was extremely self service even down to tea and coffe, not what one expects at a nice hotel....

Well the hotel is nice but going through some upgrades, we had a lovely bright fresh room in part of the hotel which had just been upgraded. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Monday evening and the entertainment from the head waiter was just like watching Basil Falwty. I did make a comment like this when...

Booked a Park and cruise stay which we had discovered by accident. Excellent value for money. Arrived early but our room was ready and we were checked in quickly and our taxi for the port was booked for the next morning. It was quite a trek to our room but we had requested a quiet room and it was. The...

Booked a Dinner Bed & Breakfast rate and upgraded to a Deluxe Double Room for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived and went into our room, we were open-mouthed. The `deluxe' room was tiny, and the bed wasn't even the size of a double. There was little or no room to move around the outside of the bed, the main...

Stayed overnight prior to doing some work for the university. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast deal was fine. There is a nice nature reserve around the back where you can go for a walk around a large pond to a circle of trees grove. Lovely.

Stayed here at Easter for two nights half board. Lovely hotel in pleasant surroundings. Perfect as a base for exploring the South Downs and New Forest. Room had just been refurbished and was spacious and comfortable. Staff efficient and friendly. Restaurant cosy with an excellent menu. Dinner was superb on both nights, well done Chef. No complaints.

BEST WESTERN Chilworth Manor Hotel lies just 4 miles from Southampton, amongst 12 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Right next door to a conservation area, this wonderful retreat is worlds away, but not far away, from the city centre. An Edwardian Manor house, the hotel is an ideal place to get away from it all and is particularly peaceful for romantic breaks! Though close to Southampton city centre and port, and the transport links that take you there, we think you'll find more than enough to keep you occupied here at the hotel.
