Room very unclean and unpleasant - didn't feel clean staying there. The most appalling aspect of this stay however, was that the staff were disgraceful. Without question the most vile attitude that I have ever encountered, I left seething. The entire stay was hideous, think the bates motel has better customer service.

First time we stayed here, and definitely the last. Staff seemed far from welcoming, perhaps had other things on their mind. Room was a little dirty, had some strange smell. and was generally very tired, but I suppose it was cheap. Decided not to stay for breakfast!

Called here for something to eat..the manageress was awful, made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable.and the staff were as bad, especially the "girl" who seemed to be her under manageress...very abrupt and RUDE The toilets were unpleasant and the place was cheap and nasty. Not something you would expect on a visit to the New Forrest.

Pub has been recently taken over. Beer is cheaper than any pub in the area and the recently refurbished kitchen is now open. The menu is very reasonably priced and the food of good quality. After an inconsistent recent past the new owners have a plan and are executing it rapidly. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights a few weeks ago, the man made us paid before we went up to the room. It's a dirty dark walk up to the room that smells damp, once we got to our room the Christmas bed sheets (in October) wasn't even clean, sticky coffee stains on the bedside tables, dirty carpet with large stains...

I would just like to say that myself and my husband had a great stay at the Roebuck. There were very friendly, attentive staff that made us feel very welcome and we would defiantly stay again. The room was decorated nicely and we had a great night sleep beds were very comfortable. I can't say enough about the service unfailingly,...

This pup has been slipping for years now through no fault of there own other than lack of publicity and local interest . I was very pleased to move back to the area and see new ownership making significant changes to bring an amazing lovely pub back to its prime . Friendly management and attentive staff . I only planned...

Disgusting stay I couldn't wait to get home and have a proper shower. I felt dirty from staying there. The staff are rude and vile. Will never return again. Food was cheap and nasty to I would not even give it to the dog. In while the place needs to be shut down.
