The Pousada itself is located very nicely, but if you want crystal clear waters you have to walk around 20 minutes as at the hotel the ocean water is mixing with the river water. The grounds are very nice and the Bungalows have a lot of privacy and the rooms are clean, have a very nice comfortable hammock, but nothing special, especially considering the price (I had just paid the same amount at another place for quite luxurious accomodations). The food was good and abundant. The Pool and Jacuzzi area where brilliant and after a day of swimming or walking very very relaxing. What I did not like was, that there is a boat cruise and entertainment place right next to it and between 11-15 hr. there was a lot of activity on the beach and swimming was impossible, but like I said if you walked 20 minutes you where at a very nice beach. Dos Carneiros itself during the weekend is extremely crowded. I was traveling alone but the last few days a friend joined me and they did not charge me extra, that was nice. The Wifi connection is bad, but sometimes it is good to get away from Technology in that way it was like an electronic detox.…
