What an incredible resort! Pontal dos Carneiros Beach Bungalows sits right in front of a beautiful beach. The grounds are meticulously cared for, with green grass in the middle of a coconut grove. The area is spacious and the bungalows are spaced far apart from one another. I stayed in the ground floor suite which is very large, with a very comfortable king-sized bed, a dining table and a varanda with your very own hammock, table and chairs where you can sit and watch the ocean. The bathroom has both a shower and a jetted tub. The toiletries are L’Occitane. The towels were the softest I’ve ever had in a hotel! They have a lovely pool that sits among the coconut trees and a beach bar right next to it. Breakfast is included, and if I had to find one thing to pick on, it’d be that the selection was a little sparse compared to other Brazilian hotels. The restaurant is also open for dinner and serves Brazilian dishes as well as a fair selection of seafood. On arrival, you are greeted with a chilled coconut water in the reception area and a bottle of sparkling wine in your room, which I didn’t mind a bit. They also put a welcome greeting card on the table in the room and served us fresh tropical fruits. The hotel staff are mostly all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They have massages available and you can take a catamaran tour to some natural pools from the property next door. The beach in front of the hotel is amazingly beautiful with white sand and calm turquoise waters. A 20 minute walk up the beach, you will find the most charming little 18th century chapel built right on the water’s edge nestled among coconut trees that’s like nothing you’ve ever seen. Right next to the resort, there is a fabulous restaurant (Beijupira) that has incredibly delicious food and great service. They also have family bungalows available that are 2 floors and have 3 bedrooms. I would go out of my way to come back here again, I had such a great time!…

We stayed three nights in pontal and it was amazing: beautiful place, the staff is very kind and welcoming. It is so peaceful. We had a wonderful time with the dinner by the sea with an idyllic setting. Thank you so much to all the staff. I highly recommend this place !!

You cannot stay at anywhere else while visiting "Praia dos Carneiros"! "Pontal dos Carneiros" is a lovely high-end "pousada", right on the golden sands of "Praia dos Carneiros", in the Southern coast of the Pernambuco State. Cozy and clean bungalows, delicious breakfasts, hammocks, ombrelones and all the palm trees in the world! A beach bar caters for guests while on the blue warm waters of "Praia dos Carneiros", that has been appointed as one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil (and in the whole world). Lunch and dinner are available at "Pontal dos Carneiros" own restaurant, or at neighboring "Restaurant Beijupirá". Seafood is a must, but other specialties are also on their menus. Our experience here has been unforgettable. The hotel is nice and well equipped and the position is simply to take your breath off. The beach is nothing less than perfect and will stay in your heart forever. Just be careful when there's high tide ... the beach simply disappears! But when it appears it's a miracle ...
