Detailed Reviews
Basic two bedroom cabin at $180 per night with an extra $60 for two sets of linen seemed steep especially when my bottom sheet was torn, the quality of the sheets was average at best, the towels were thin and the second package only had one towel,
Mattress in second bedroom needed replacing.
Toaster didn’t work unless the lever was held down.
Outdoor furniture dirty.
Bathroom tiny.
Adequate for one night but seriously overpriced for the quality.

We enjoyed our stay at the anchorage campsite. Facilities were minimal (only three toilets and showers for women) and a tiny kitchen. However camp ground was great, a quiet location and wellkept grounds.
No issues with the campsite or facilities however, for the space provided and the facilities the unpowered campsite is overpriced.

We happened to be here over the Easter long weekend, and had a very pleasant 3 night stay in a cabin.
Had all that we required... ..all amenities, neat and functional, and was very close to the main attractions we’d come for
Good all round camping/caravan park....would come back again

Rented a cabin, no bedding not even a sheet on the bed, no towels or bath mat, needs a good clean. Toilet roll holder broken and sitting on shelf and air conditioner vents filthy, the couch was also stained. I would not stay here again, clearly they don't check their accommodation or they don't care.

Very disappointed in the service provided by the phone crew.
Ben was extremely helpful and tried his hardest to accommodate my friends.
The hassle and stereotyping towards my group was extremely disappointing and concerns me for groups in the future looking to book here. Looking at the photos and location, I was eager to stay here with the group I was planning to travel with.
This booking experience was extremely disappointing has made this trip difficult.

We Booked a couple nights in the cabins.
The reception lady was quite rude to my wife , not friendly at all.
We got into our cabin and were impressed , until we had a closer look.
1. The beds are rock hard and not comfortable
2. Most of the curtains are in disrepair and difficult to get complete privacy
3 . The toilet does not stop running when you press it , you have to bang it hard on the side to stop it.
4. Caked on dust on the exhaust fan in bathroom
5. Broken chair in the patio.
6 . ceiling fan in family room doesn't work.
At a $150 a night i expect a cabin to be on point.
Your best bet is to camp here .
Nice little lake and grounds to camp out on .

Nice powered site, showers and toilets OK. But the owner spoilt the experience. He barged into our camper telling us off for driving too fast. Then we driving out the next day, slower than 5kms, in first gear, he was waiting in his truck at the entrance, told me off again for going too fast. He was very rude and threaten to kick us out. Other campers also found him to be rude, telling them to be quiet after 10pm, also about their driving speed. He spoilt our time there, dont recommend this caravan park, as the owner cannot be trusted.

I really enjoyed this site. Right at top of where campers go so had great views. It has all the amenities you need and a little shop too.
The owners are friendly are are ready to help so that uou can get the best from your stay.
Only thing that spoilt it for me a little was some of the people who stayed there. They were regulars and the noise of there dog and themselves getting drunk and loud has put me off going back in case I en p Bytham again. I was even quite excited about hoping back for summer but have my reservations now. We'll see can always chat to the owners and see what they say. It's a shame because I was in a lovely spot.

I stayed here for 3 nights over the 2013 Phillip Island motorcycle races. The park was OK, the facilities only just OK, the manager of the place was horrendous. During the three days and evenings, I came and went many times leaving the tent in place each day. I went to bed on the final night needing sleep to get up early and ride hundreds of kilometres back into NSW. About 1.30am it was windy and drizzling rain and I heard a voice outside the tent, then something hitting the tent. I climbed out with a small torch expecting a drunken reveller after the races, but was faced with an aggressive, angry, almost deranged MANAGER of the park. At that time of night, in the wind and rain - he wanted to see my receipt for the camping fees !! I couldn't believe it !! He was ranting and raving about people camping and not paying. I wasn't sure if he was serious and naturally our discussion became extremely heated. He had a long black torch that didn't work but he was holding it like a baton . . . . be careful. I found my wallet, pulled out the receipt, he tried to snatch it and tried to claim it wasn't legit. We argued that I had been in the same place, coming and going for 3 days and nights and at 1.30am in the morning he wanted to check me out. UNBELIEVABLE. Eventually after much more ranting and raving and arm flinging, he wandered off to harass others. The man was either drunk or is mentally ill. Needless to say I got little sleep after that and even then slept with one eye open in case he came back. DON'T STAY HERE - I won't be, even it's the last piece of grass left on Phillip Island.

Hi Jo, sorry I missed seeing your question earlier. We sometimes allow fires in the cooler months, but not over the summer months due to regular fire bans being in force.
