Myself my husband and our daughter were invited to stay at Ripples & Tonic for 2 nights whilst she took part in the Good Friday Appeal 2021 at the Penguin Parade. We stayed in the Holydean Cottage which was very spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have ensuite bathrooms. This cottage accommodates a wheelchair comfortably, has reverse heating and cooling and is situated amongst the horses, goats and beautiful garden area. Michael and Diane were very hospitable and happy to help at any point. Its a farm so wear clothes that you are comfortable getting dirty you can then get into the thick of it with the animals which are all very happy to be touched. There is a farm tour/animal feeding in the mornings which is definitely recommended, Kids will LOVE this place and if the kids are happy the rest of the family are happy. All linen and towels are provided, beds are nice and comfortable and clean. Great location pretty much 10mins from all attractions. another big bonus is that we were allowed to take our Airedale puppy which loved the place as much as we did. We will definitely try to get back soon.

It was our absolute pleasure to have you guys stay with us for a couple of nights. So glad you all had a great time on both the Farm and the Island. Our animals look forward to seeing all the guests each morning and receiving some much anticipated treats each day. Set on 15 acres theres plenty of space for your pets and children to move about and have fun. We hope to see you sometime in the future again. Take care, Michael and Dianne

For young families or families with disabilities...you cannot go wrong here. There is so much to do, so much to see. You get to feel like a glamorous farmer ...feed & cuddle animals by day, kids go off to play safely in the endless park & games room. A bbq & meal of local produce by the fire & jump into an outdoor spa by night. So many things to do nearby will keep u busy for days. This is the best kind of holiday. Every one returns home feeling grounded & drunk on nature & appreciating our hard working farmers & produce that little bit more. It's worth the money for all the family to benefit so much.

What a beautiful place to stay. So much fun and educational at the same time, thanks to being able to feed and getting information about all the animals. The three kids, 2, 5 and 11 yr old loved every second of it... from the comfy clean rooms to the outdoor play areas to the freedom of being able to socialise with every single animal and the great people that work here. Great spa, lovely people, Michael, Di, Sally and Dayne that are more than happy to help and so friendly. Was so relaxing and caters for everyone. Will definitely be back for another trip of calm and fun. Thanks Michael and Di 🙂

I coordinated an Adult Camp for people living with disabilities at Ripples n Tonic last week. The feedback from the staff and the participants was very positive.

Dianne & Michael are fantastic hosts and the interaction between our group and the animals at the Farm Stay was very engaging for all who attended.

I would recommend Ripples n Tonic to both families and disability groups for a relaxing stay on Phillip Island.

Nice cottage for a family. Lovely farm with friendly animals. Location is close convenient. It has a fully equipped kitchen. The shower area has no barrier, so water splashes out in the bathroom. A mop should be supplied to prevent the slippery floor after it is used.

Hi Tina, thank you for your lovely feedback. So glad you had a wonderful stay with us. The shower does actually have a shower curtain that if pulled across prohibits the water from spraying everywhere. We did used to supply mops and buckets but guests complained that they smelt musty in the cupboard so we no longer do this. Really appreciate the feedback and thanks again for your comments. Regards Ripples n Tonic

We enjoyed a lovely stay with family members aged from 2 years old to over 60 and the venue offered something for every one. The facilities were clean and roomy and the location was close enough to the town centre for easy access but well away from the crowds that descend on this part of Victoria during summer.
The children loved the easy access to the playground and the opportunity to help feed the farm animals each day.
The owners were friendly and helpful and keen to make sure that everyone had a good time.

We are from Singapore and were looking for a farm stay for our kids. There were a few options but we chanced upon Ripples N Tonic.

We are so happy to have chosen Ripples N Tonic as there were plenty of friendly animals in the farm. Best of all, we could feed the animals anytime.

Farmers Di and Mik were incredible host. They were so friendly and brought us around on their buggy and gave us good information on the animals.

It was an educational and fun experience for both the kids and adults!

As a bonus, the location of the farm is near to the Penguin parade and also Cowes where the supermarkets and restaurants are located.

I would give the place a 5 out of 5!

We had a great 3 night stay at Ripples n Tonic with our 3 children (ages 5,5 and 6) and grandparents.

The play area is set up well and entertained my kids from first light until dark, we also used the communal kitchen one night for a bbq whilst the kids continued to play. The animal feeding each morning also kept us busy and entertained. The staff were all great!

We stayed in Hollydean cottage and it was large, warm and well equipped. Location was good - just couple minutes drive to Ventnor beach and 10 mins from Cowes & Penguin parade.

Seeing our children enjoy the outdoors and animals so much was priceless. If we lived closer we’d be regulars for sure! What a great place!
