My wife and I stayed at Maya Tulipanes for 2 nights after booking through Expedia.com. The rate was very good but didn't include breakfast. We have no complaints about our stay here. Good location in a leafy area not too far away from the commercial district. Reception person spoke some English and was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a...

I stayed at his hotel for 3 nights while visiting Palenque and the nearby waterfalls of Misol Ha and Agua Azul. This hotel takes tourgroups and independent travellers like myself. Breakfast was included and good. I only ate one other meal at their restaurant and the food was excellent but the service was slow. Great small refreshing pool. Internet access...

After checking several hotels in the area, we were thankful to find Hotel Maya Tulipanes. From the soft pillows, the comfortable beds, secured private parking and a delicious complementary breakfast, we found this to be one of the best hotels on our 2,000 miles trek across Mexico. The murals in the hotel were an extra plus along with the open...

Very basic, average room. This is a place to crash after the long trip to Palenque, before you go to the ruins early in the morning; and crash again when you are back at night after all that exploring, before you leave for good. Don't expect much of the courtesy dinner or the included-in-the-rate breakfast: everything is rationed to the...

Hotel Maya Tulipanes is situated on a quiet street just off the town centre. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the staff were warm, friendly and very welcoming (especially Miguel in the restaurant ) Both the inside restaurant and the courtyard were charming and the pool was great after a long day driving. The hotel arranged a trip...

My family went visiting to Mexico and we went to Palenque to have a nice experience, Palenque is beautiful but my accomodation experience sucked. First of all terrible service and bad smell. The room was kind of dirty and the sheet bed had a hole. No kidding I saw a woman doing like laundry or something weird in the pool,...

This is a conveniently located hotel, with sweet, conscientious staff, comfortable staff and a great location, not far from the main bus station and convenient to cheap transportation to the ruins of Palenque. Overall, it's a great value.

We have stayed at the Maya Tulipanes on several occasions. It is in a nice, quiet location, close to restaurants and within walking distance of town. The accommodations are clean and the grounds are beautiful. Hotel staff is helpful and courteous. The food is delicious! We've only had breakfasts there and those are great! Would highly recommend this place.

There are many options for hotels in Palenque. This one looks the best for us. The guy at the reception desk speaks some English but not fluently. We arrived at 8am and they let us check-in, that´s really helpful. There´s a small swimming pool in the hotel, but I didn´t try it because it looks a little dirty. The room...

The Maya Tulipanes is a nice, clean, well maintained hotel, with swimming pool, restaurant, and bar in the middle of Palenque, easy walking distance to restaurants, downtown shopping, and the attractions surrounding the town. The staff was exceptionally nice and accomodated some special requests with smiles all around. We'll definately go back as we visit this area of Mexico fairly...
