Awful place, smells, no facilities, noisy and bright light shining in our window all night. Staff unhelpful. We got locked in when we needed to leave for an early bus. My partner left his wallet in the room and they claim never to have found it, after reading other reviews I wonder if they did but kept it. Not worth...

Ok, there are definitelly nicer places, but I was in Palenque few times already and to get a nice budget place is not easy. Chechen has a great location.
