This iconic place is absolutely amazing. Stopped here 15 years ago and it has grown but has still kept the atmosphere. We had a motorhome and camped right next to the pub. Amenities are very good with the usual toilet/shower facilities and number of combined "toilet/showers cabins". The staff are extremely friendly, chatty & helpful and there is nothing that is too much trouble. A huge thank you to the awesome Emma G. Great options for dinner ( and you MUST book) is the steak meal or the barramundi meal or the half & half. Food was excellent. There is also nightly entertainment from 6pm. You must spend time wandering around the "town"; Tim's Junkyard, the 2m crock, the pig &2 buffalo at the end of the street that want you to pat them !! and the pub. Take your time & check out what's been 'donated'. To summarise … it's not just a place to visit, it's an awesome adventure.

I stopped here on the way to Alice Springs for one night. The cabins were in need of a good clean-cobwebs all over and spiders on top of the wardrobe. The shower clunked heavily whenever the hot water was turned on. Food was ok and it was good to cool down in the pool out the back. Good for a one night stay, but would probably not return again.

Had a couple of visits on my recent NT trip. This spot is a great outback experience. The accommodation is basic it is clean and has all you need. The food is good especially what is on offer for breakfast. It is hard to describe the place there is just so much to see, stuff all over the place it is a very interesting spot with a friendly vibe. Where else do you see a horse attempting to come through the front door. It was pizza and pool night and we got talked into playing and I somehow became the pool champ albeit for 1 week. Special shout out to Clinton. A must do.

The Daly Waters Historic pub was brilliant and worth the long drive from Darwin which we did in one day. The memorabilia was stunning, so many different items on display in the pub. We stayed the night in a cabin which was alright, it had its own bathroom but you can choose different accomodation options and they also have a camping area. We ate their famous barramundi for dinner which was so delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was even a local horse that came to visit us in the pub. I have never seen a pub like this and it's a must if you come to the NT. You must also visit Tims junkyard opposite the pub that has old vehicles and other things, even a police car and fire engine. They also have a petrol bowser so you can fill up if you are low on petrol for your onward journey. Amazing, amazing....you must go and see this pub.
