Room was clean and comfortable but the best part was the staff and all the extras provided. On arrival were given an upgrade to a room with private bathroom. We arrived late and after dinner, while we had gotten something to eat on the way, there was complimentary soup and bread offered as well as coffee and tea around the...

The only downside to this place was the seperate beds which my wife and I found more amusing than anything else. The room was small but confortable with a tiny tube tv, not that you'll be watching any tv in that region. The beds were confortable and the view out our window was spectacular. This was truly a nice place...

We stayed there two nights. One night the staff completely forgot to clean our room, but compensated by giving us a huge beer. They were very nice and accommodating. Food was a varied buffet, and very good.

We have been spending two nights in Narfastadir guesthouse. We had a room in a beautiful cottage detached from the main bildiing and up on the hill. Room was quite spacious still very cozy, clean and tinted with lovely pale green tones. The kitchen was well equipped and the place has an amazing hot tube outside on the patio. Location...

Fabulous views, friendly staff. Good food in large quantities. Because of the way the guesthouse has grown the rooms are quite varied, but all comfortable and clean. A good base for exploring this northern part of Iceland. A great lounge with library on the first floor.

Our tour group stayed in a separate house some 300 meters walk across the fields from the main building. The house was clean and comfortable with a large kitchen available. The buffet dinner had many dishes but like all buffets is better early in the evening. There was an adequate choice for most people to find something they could try....

Converted farmhouse in a very quiet position. Rooms were fine with good blackouts and the shower was good, although the beds were two small singles, each one up against the wall. The walls were also rather thin, and at one point you could hear the occupant of next door snoring! The hotel has a nice sitting area where free coffee...

The staff, room and guesthouse grounds in general gave off a very warm feeling. The room was clean, neat and had a sink, with the bathroom in the hall. Could have had another bathroom but didn't really have to wait long. The buffet dinner had good choices, very tasty! You can bring your own bottle if you wish.
