Hotel's Favourite
Last visited seven years ago and not much has changed. Reserved the Deluxe Suite for our 20th wedding anniversary which is still the nicest hotel room I've ever had. Isis at reception was great and all staff was professional and polite. The place looks and smells like it just opened. Extremely clean and fresh. I only have two quibbles; both small. For some reason they don't stock glassware in the rooms. Even the deluxe suite. When you want to open a bottle of wine in your room, you certainly don't want to drink it out of paper or plastic.
The other issue we had was the proliferation of penny slots. I mean, sweet Jesus, they were everywhere. We walked around the casino floor for awhile before I actually asked a staffer where the quarter machines were. He pointed to a corner of the casino and said unfortunately they didn't have many. But boy, the people love their penny slots. Not for me, but whatever. I guess that's how you get people through the door.
Ate at the pizza joint and later at the bar - both good.
I really like this place and hope it stays top notch.

We had a fun time to Del Lago casino. Clean game floor, has it's own smoking area closed off from the main game floor. We really liked this set up,other casinos smell so badly of stale smoke. Friendly staff, fun games good times. The buffet is one of the better one's we have been to,good food ,clean. The room is well appointed, has a refrigerator that is not locked up with over priced drinks. We bring our own drinks and snacks, some hotel/casinos don't have open refrigerators, bummer. The room 3rd floor south east facing over looks a parking lot and I 90. Quite room and a nice bed, slept very well. We will return to Del Lago for another get away weekend.

Our first time at del Lago and impressed with the casino it does remind me of the Las Vegas casinos. We visited just after the reopening with a late morning visit and the crowd was not overbearing, the establishment was very clean employees were constantly cleaning the machines we felt safe and comfortable during our gambling session. Looking forward to another visit in November.

We had a great experience here. The room was very luxurious and very clean. The smoke free casino was great. Of course, we didn’t win any money. The check-in process was quick and we got offered a glass of champagne or a bottled water when we did. Great place. It didn’t break the bank either.

Booked a nice local getaway for the wife for Valentine’s Day in their best King Suite. Got there early and was told we would be contacted when the room was ready. No contact by check in at 4pm and room wasn’t ready with an unknown estimate at 4:30pm. No available reservations weeks ahead of time at their only open restaurant Sociale, so we made reservations in Geneva. Unable to accommodate to get ready at all even after check in time or get us late reservations in their restaurant so we could get ready. “Manager” said that nothing she could do or assist as they were busy and unable to fulfill their obligations for rooms to be ready for reservations. A line of 50-60 people at 4pm checkin with no rooms available. Only option would be to downgrade to a junior suite at same cost. After getting ready in the car and eating a nice dinner in Geneva still no call that room was ready, as was promised at 2pm and 4:30pm. At 7:15pm called the hotel and after multiple times on hold someone was finally able to tell us room was just available. Zero help from the skittish “manager” who was overwhelmed and offered zero customer service again at check in. The front desk clerk at check out was much more helpful after asking the right questions to find out about the stay. She offered to comp our breakfast which not a big amount was definitely good customer service. Not looking for anything but the hotel to uphold their end of the deal. Overall very limited Casino games, food, and drinks made for less than optimal time. If it wasn’t for the clerk at check out I would never think of coming back, see seemed to genuinely care.

We went here for the Styx concert . Beautiful resort. Perfect size venue . The reason for the less than five rating ? There is no pool . With a place this large I would expect it but they never put one in ?. If you don’t swim or care to swim it’s no big deal. I do. Second and probably just if not more important - there are only two places to eat when concerts get out . Everybody is hungry or wants something to drink after a concert !! One restaurant actually refused to make any food at all because they were making food for the band. One of the two restaurants told us that they were closed and to order room service . So we went back to our room and tried using the iPad supplied by the hotel but the program wouldn’t let us put in an order until the next day and of course nobody answered when we called room service . It was an absolute nightmare to order food. Just like the rest of America they were obviously severely understaffed. I don’t know how to fix this . So if you do go here , make sure you bring plenty of snacks !

Hotel and casino were outstanding beautiful room, fun clean non smoking casino, great place to stay while doing a weekend wine tour get away. Portico restaurant definitely needs some improvements, drinks and appetizers came within a reasonable time frame took forever to get dinner and when we did it was all cooked wrong, and cold. Finally got attention of our server and all’s they did was take it back and warm it up again took forever and one was filet was way over cooked. The manager on duty gave 3 of us a glass of wine for our troubles 1 person wasn’t even drinking. When we got him I Emailed the restaurant manager 2 time with no reply. Definitely needs some customer service improvement.

Attended a holiday party, second year, and once again excellent banquet food & service. Also, went to breakfast in one of their restaurants the following morning, as we spent the night. The breakfast buffet had everything you could ever want. Our hotel room was clean with great amenities.
They do need to go green with the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower instead of all of the small individual plastic containers.
My husband enjoyed the casino.

Three night stay in the Finger Lakes region and we really liked this place. Right off Route 90, it was a great location to use as a starting point for our exploration of the area. Nice room with a very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. The casino was nice with the typical slots and table games. There is a Draftkings Sportsbook in the casino with multiple huge screens showing a bunch of different sporting events. We ate there once during our stay and it was ok. The food was typical of a sports pub, burgers and sandwiches with fries, but the service was fair at best, with unnecessary waits while waitresses in plain view were standing around doing nothing. The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is that several of the restaurants were not open during our stay. I know we were there during the week ( Monday-Thursday) , but the stated hours indicated that they should have been open and they were not. Perhaps it’s a staffing issue, which is a problem everywhere these days, but it was a little disappointing. Overall a very nice stay at a very nice place.

Beds are comfy, rooms are nice. Showers are nice. Staff is friendly. Rooms are quite pricey. We stay here quite often as we attend a lot of events at The Vine. A few complaints- they usually have an iPad at the bedside with the time and weather etc displayed but this time there was no iPad and no clock or anything so we had to keep checking our phones for the time and use for an alarm. The showers are really nice but the last time we were there the shower head was mostly clogged and we had very poor water flow. My biggest complaint is that the cleaning people are at your door AT 11:00 which is checkout. If it’s 11 or 11:01 and you are still packing up your room they will be banging on your door telling you it’s time to go. It is extremely annoying and happens every time we are there if we don’t leave early. You cannot stay in your room til 11 or they will be at your door.
