Stayed in Lavenham cabin for a week. The whole cabin was clean and well equipped for a perfect stay. The cabins are positioned around the water that makes them very private. The welcome treats were a nice touch and being allowed to walk around the farm was great. Will definitely come back as it is the most relaxed we have felt for a long time. Thank you Andrew and the Team 😊

Where do I being! Suffolk Escapes you sure do know how to make people feel at home! my partner and myself stayed here in June for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday and we can 100% say we could not have wished for a better get away! We picked a very good week for the weather it was beautiful we managed to get a couple BBQs in during our stay... the views in the morning are something to be seen so beautiful especially when sitting out on the decking over the lake eating breakfast but also in the evening too the peace and tranquillity is amazing every now and then you will hear the fish splash about in the lake it was lovely we felt totally relaxed we forgot about work and everything for those 4 days it was heaven! Now lets talk about the cabin WOW! what a beautiful creation these cabins are! I wouldn't mind living in one as a second home...... I am a self employed baker and the kitchen is my ultimate dream kitchen I fell in love with it I couldn't help myself but I felt the need to bake even though I was suppose to be on holiday lol! The layout of the cabin is very well thought-out and spacious, the bed is HUGE!! and so comfy I had no complaints and I'm fussy I am one for only liking my own bed! but I had a great nights sleep every night! :)... The bathroom is beautiful the free standing bath WOW... the walk in shower was amazing I could go on and on but to sum it up this is a place you need to come and experience yourself I feel we have missed out on the hidden beauty all this time! we have actually booked up again this year to stay over Christmas/new year and we cant wait to return!! So thank you everyone at Suffolk escapes you have an amazing hidden Gem here which we can not wait to return to again :) Emma & Luke

Wow! Thanks so much for the glowing review, Emma and Luke. That's made our day! Hearing that you were able to truly relax and switch off from everything is fantastic...we put a lot of thought into the design and facilities to hopefully ensure guests feel that they can do just that so we're delighted that it was four days of pure relaxation and tranquility for you both. We're looking forward to seeing you both again for your Christmas break. A different experience with the log stoves, cosy cabin and frost (maybe even snow?!) across the lake. We hope you'll enjoy it just as much. Thanks again for taking the time to leave your review. See you soon! Andrew and the whole of the team.

A really special place to relax and spend time either alone or with friends. The lodge is really well equipped to a high spec. Really comfy beds and bedding, both rooms ensuite with bath and walk in showers. Kitchen has everything you would want. We arranged for a chef to visit one night "Made by Marcus" and that was a lovely treat, food was superb and Marcus is a really nice guy. Spent every evening sitting in the hot tub while catching up on our news, breakfast each morning was out on the deck by the lake.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the hot tub and decking area in particular - it sounds like a perfect way to spend the evenings and mornings - and just what we envisaged for guests when we were designing the cabins and thinking about what facilities would help ensure a truly relaxing break. We hope you'll visit again in the future and look forward to welcoming you back. Thanks again Andrew and the whole of the Suffolk Escape team

The barn was spotlessly clean and easily accommodated our party of 10. On arrival we were delighted to find milk, eggs, fresh orange juice, butter, jam, ready to bake croissants and pan au chocolate. The setting is stunning and very safe for children. We loved the pool and hot tub. We booked the private chef which was a unforgettable experience, superb food and service. We also booked the masseuse, again, first rate. Andy and his staff were always available if we needed help or advice. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook or bake. The pizza oven is very good and we also used the BBQ. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms lovely. The whole place is beautifully furnished inside and outside. In summary; faultless.

Wow! Thanks so much for this review of your stay in our Sheepyard Barn. We're so pleased you feel it was 'outstanding' and 'faultless' - that's made our day! Great to hear you also enjoyed your private chef and spa treatment experiences. We like to be able to offer those additional services to guests that will really make a difference to their holiday - whether as an extra way to ensure true relaxation or as a special treat - and both Marcus and Renee really do that with their excellent service and experience. We very much hope to welcome you back another time in the future. Thanks again for your kind words and thorough review. Andrew and the whole of the Suffolk Escape team

After a year of lockdowns and being key workers I really wanted somewhere to escape and get away from it all, this was exactly the place. The log cabins are fantastic (we stayed in Southwold) they have everything you need and the little added extras of milk, orange juice, eggs, croissants to bake and brownies when you arrive really add to the sense of luxury. We loved just spending time eating breakfast on the terrace, having a glass of wine in the evening on the patio area with both overlooking the lake and of course the use of your own private hot tub. I would also recommend the walk around the farm, they provide you with a map in the cabin. We had a lovely weekend and came away feeling completely relaxed.
