We spent three nights at the beginning of our holiday with Travel Bird and I remember it with fondness. Our room was large, with a beautiful garden view and a good size balcony. The food we had was always lovely, hot and well cooked, probably the best we had at any hotel we stayed at. The restaurant staff provided excellent...

Ratnaloka tries to put you in that hotel no matter which hotel you've actually booked. Ours was the Centauria Hill Resort. First they told us it was full then several other reasons. As it turned out it was significantly better. The Ratnaloka Inn is veeery dated, with mouldy bathrooms and noisy AC. If you have the chance don't stay there!!...

The service was a bit lacking when you wanted a beer around 5 oclock and the wine was terrible but apart from that the bedrooms were fine with a lovely comfy bed and the best Nasi Goreng we had anywhere

Problems started already before even entering the room. The door of our room could not be opened with the key, technical department solved...

Very friendly staff and food bartender. The rooms are food and spacious if you are in The new part. The old rooms need an update. The bathrooms are Not so good. Moldy and Not very modern. The surroundings are beautiful and The pool is relaxing. We stayed three nights and didn't really have any complaints.

I wanted to put future visitors minds at ease after reading some of the reviews for this place. It is a quiet place, off the beaten track, predominantly used for Travelbird tour groups. Yes it is a little tired, perhaps some of the rooms need a lick of paint, but it is clean, comfortable and ideal for those on group...

Quiet village location. Hotel is forty plus years old and looks it. The decor is tatty and in urgent need of attention throughout the hotel and especially the rooms which are at best poor. Food was variable, some days good choice but others no choice. Pool is filthy with green slimy mould growing on the tiles and a sloping tiled...

This was our first visit in Sri Lanka and we had a great experience at Ratnaloka Inn. The staff is very welcoming and service outstanding. Mr Gamini arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and arranged some lovely tours for us. We went to Sinharaja and Udawalawe National Parks. Well worth it. He also helped us to...
