We spent 3 nights here, a Christmas present from our 3 daughters. What a wonderful stay we had. The property is beautiful and the two tent domes are perched on a hill at the edge of the Marri forest, overlooking the farmland. It is very peaceful and relaxing.
The tents are quite unique and very well laid out and appointed. The deck area with spa bath, barbecue and outdoor furniture is private and provides a beautiful outlook over the property. The nights were cold while we were there, but the reverse cycle air conditioning and gas fire kept us warm.
On our first morning the power went out, but we were advised shortly after by Ben (the owner) that Western Power were undertaking work in the area and had cut the power without warning. That afternoon Ben arrived at our door with a beautifully wrapped hamper box with wine and a few other goodies as compensation for the power cut inconvenience, which was a very generous and thoughtful gesture.
We had a very relaxing stay at this lovely retreat and can highly recommend it.

Mile End was the first stop on our down-south honeymoon. We stayed for 2 nights, and it really set the scene for a relaxing, luxurious getaway.
The dome was beautifully set-out, clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities you could need. We took our own cheese, wine etc. so hardly needed to leave the premises.
There are an abundance of add-ons you can organise prior to your stay. I had a massage (in the dome) with Massage South West, and we went on a private wine tour with A Touch of Glass Tours. Both were amazing! Highly recommend.
I must admit, the two domes are closer together than what I expected, so it didn't feel as private. But this did not hinder our experience.
Overall, a beautiful, unique stay.

Such a beautiful unique place to stay. The domes are fitted out very well with gorgeous decor. The outdoor bath further adds to the experience. We went for a walk in the bush and saw kangaroos including an albino roo. Even though we visited in winter the domes have great heating, including a gas open fire, making it very warm and cozy. I would definitely recommend a stay at Mile End Glamping

The dome is really unique and beautiful. However, given the cost and the location, it was ruined by noisy neighbours playing loud music all day and into the night. Staff did not respond to my 4 messages for over an hour and, while they did eventually resolve this, it was after 10pm. I was really disappointed they did not offer any sort of recompense. I could not get a refund as I had already stayed one night and to get a refund for the 2nd night I had to leave straight away. Even a gesture would have been something for a luxury stay?? Bottle of wine? Apology I did not enjoy my stay? Late checkout? (which the neighbours got).
I am really sorry I cannot recommend this for travellers who want a quiet, peaceful (no wifi or tv) relaxing getaway.

Response from C Ford, General Manager at Mile End Glamping
Responded 21 Apr 2022
Jane stayed with Mile End Glamping for two nights. A single voicemail was received at 9:38pm on the first night of Jane’s stay regarding music from the neighbouring dome tent from guests who checked in at 4pm. No other prior messages were received. Management responded to Jane directly with a phone call, visited the neighbouring patrons and asked them to turn off their music. The other guests were very reasonable. They apologised and immediately turned the music off, unaware that they had disturbed Jane. The issue was resolved by 10 pm. Later that night Jane sent an email demanding a full refund for her stay. Management telephoned Jane at 9 am the following morning regarding her email. Jane was offered a goodwill refund if she would like to checkout by 10 am. Jane informed management that she had changed her mind and wanted to enjoy the rest of her stay. A bottle of wine was gifted to Jane as part of her stay. The other patrons (who didn’t have a late checkout but were actually staying an extra night) didn’t play any music during the rest of their stay. Mile End Glamping is committed to providing guests with the best experience possible. We ask that any problem or complaint be informed to management at the earliest opportunity, so that the situation can be rectified as quickly and efficiently as possible. We’re very disappointed to read Jane’s review which could have easily been resolved much sooner after her check-in if we’d known there was a problem.

We had some really high expectations of this accommodation ever since we made the booking. We’ve read the reviews, did our homework, and the excitement was sky high the day before the trip.
And boy, they didn’t disappoint.
We’ve seen the photos of people who stayed here before, but actually being inside the dome was such a mind-blowing experience! The serenity, calmness, and peacefulness of the surroundings were unbelievable. We felt that we were being transported to a different world, a paradise where time doesn’t matter.
My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we loved every minute of our stay. We definitely recommend Mile End Glamping for a truly unique and memorable experience while visiting the South West.

Wow what an experience!
As I drove up and saw the two domes I felt so excited, they look amazing. But when we actually walked into our dome I was blown away. And so was my hubby who I don't think was expecting too much. It was beautiful.
I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to holidays and where I pick to stay and always go for very modern decor if I can and the decor in the dome was up there with the best, beautiful colours and had a very relaxing feel.
The dome was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need, down to BBQ, clothes horse, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, tea, coffee, shower gel etc etc
Unfortunately for us it was EXTREMELY windy when we came, so our first night was so noisy with the wind hitting the dome that we didn't sleep well but luckily the second night it calmed down and we could hear the wildlife outside and truly felt like we were camping but IN STYLE!! The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Both nights we had a spa bath out on the deck and enjoyed looking up at the stars, amazing view.
In the short time we were there we managed to see Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Margaret River as all are easy to drive to from the dome.
I can't recommend this experience enough.

This place is a little out there, and I'm not just meaning the location..
You are virtually living in a Plastic bubble, a lavish and upmarket Plastic bubble But one none the less... After 2 nights i was starting to feel like i was part of a Mars Space Project testing out living quarters...
Well all i can say if this IS what its going to like living on Mars, Then sign me up...
Everything in this place is High End, The White Accessories throughout just accentuate the Style and 5 Star feel you would expect from reading the reviews..
There is also i nice private decking on the side with a BBQ and Spa, so you can relax in the bubbles with a glass of Champagne or a Beer and look out over paddocks and maybe even see the occasional Kangaroo...
I think the owners have a great niche accomm idea, which is obvious by the fact that its booked out nearly 6 mths in advance all year round... Which most B & Bs can only dream of... especially considering this isn't really a Budget or midrange $$ option...
During the day, if you didn't want to stay home, there is soo much to do locally, Wineries, Margaret River- shops pubs bakeries, Beaches, Dunsborough... all within 15-30 mins drive ...
Pros: Living in a Plastic Bubble is certainly an experience that doesn't get offered
very often...
The peace an tranquility is hard to argue with ...... truly serene..
Cons: The Bubble can get hot, i was sweating even when it rained, you have to
counter balance the air inside by using the AC to even out air flow, as you
can't really leave the front door open to let in fresh air cause you'll get
swamped with flies ..
Also coming from the city or Overseas it would of been nice to have Some
form of wildlife in the paddock in front of the bubbles, just to add to feeling of
being in the country which i think would be huge drawcard for Foreign guests,
even if there just cows or Sheep..
All in all it was a really good experience and even if it wasn't on your bucket list, i think ud just pencil it in anyway Just so you could cross it off... as Being Done.... :)

I don’t know where to begin!
I found this place when I was looking for ‘luxury accomodation’ in the area for a little getaway before the silly season and the birth of my baby early Feb.
WHAT A FIND!
Firstly, minimum 2 night stay, it was completely booked until late Jan (I was looking months ago) but I managed to find 1 night left in this period, how lucky was I!
1 night is definitely not enough, but it’s a taste of what Mile End Glamping offers!
The owners should be so proud of what they have built and accomplished! I’ve already ranted and raved to family and friends (hours of checking out)
These 2 stunning domes greet you along Yelverton Road, building the excitement as you approach closer along the gravel driveway.
Upon arrival into the dome, the airy, light, white atmosphere is amazing!! Tastefully decorated and with touches of local produce, there has been nothing left without a thought.
Beautiful proteas, local artwork even down to local soap, shampoo, body lotion etc.
The decking which lead to a spa bath and BBQ was the perfect addition to the dome. This overlooking beautiful fields and wildlife just completed it.
This place hands down beats any 5 star ritzy hotel. This is 5 star, plus you’re own piece of paradise!

My wife and I stayed here in March 2017 for 2 nights as we had read some reviews, seen some pictures and thought " that will be something different". Well it was different because it was so much better than other accommodation we had stayed at in the Margaret River region. Extremely new, spotlessly clean, private without being remote, well equipped, glamorous and romantic.
It is an easy drive from Caves Road and the Bussel Highway which means everywhere is easy to reach.
The pictures make it look nice but actually it is even better than it looks.

We stayed in Dome 1 from Feb 19-21 2017 as a two day "mini-moon" after our wedding. As soon as we turned into the driveway, we could see the two domes in the distance and our excitement continued to grow as we approached.
There is no other word to describe this place but "WOW!". The privacy, the view, the layout, the decor, the comfy bed, the air-con, the kitchenette, the spa and barbecue on the deck - all perfection. The owners of Mile End have literally thought of everything, there's even a sound machine, eye masks and a bottle of scented air mist to help you have the best sleep possible!
On our first day at Mile End we had a lovely sunny day, resulting in a spectacular sunset which we enjoyed from the spa, followed by the most amazing starry sky - we could even see the Milky Way overhead!
On the second day, it was cooler and rained through the night which was so lovely to hear coming down on our dome as we snuggled up in the lovely dressing gowns (provided) with a glass of wine. We also loved hearing the Kookaburras going nuts outside at dusk and dawn, talk about being in the wilderness! It was fantastic. :)
In terms of location, you couldn't ask for better - it's close to Margaret River town, various amazing wineries, Cowaramup, the local venison farm shop (a must-do!), as well as the ocean road with the spectacular views that brings. My husband is a photographer and he was in heaven the whole time.
We honestly can't wait to return to Mile End Glamping, it was the best mini-break we've ever had!

It was wonderful to read your review - it means so much to us when our guests enjoy their stay and all that the local area has to offer. We are very fortunate to enjoy some beautiful starry nights here and the venison farm shop is one of our favourites too. Thanks for choosing Mile End Glamping to celebrate such a special occasion - we really hope to see you again soon.

They have a Very policy on this ....
2 people per dome Only ...
Hi, if i recall, it's a minimum of 2 nights stay. I paid about sgd600 for 2 nights inclusive of taxes. No regrets!
The domes have aircon, we visited on a very warm weekend in November and it was amazing.
They are fully equipped with all you need so to answer your question in short .....ANYTIME would be the best time to go in my opinion, don't leave it too long as it's so popular. We were lucky as we benefitted from a cancellation.
Enjoy!
Hi and thank you for your questions.
Inside each dome there are is kettle, a small selection of DVDs and on-demand hot water showers. The TVs have an integrated DVD player and also have USB ports. Hairdryers are also supplied for use in your dome.
We look forward to welcoming you soon! MEG Management Team.
