Needed somewhere to stop for a bite of lunch to break up a journey. Remembered Wolds Village from a brief visit 2 or 3 years ago. A little out of the way but worth finding and well placed if you enjoy exploring this beautiful part of East Yorkshire. The food was excellent quality and real value for money. The site...

We recently stayed in the Georgian room which was a really nice large themed room, a lot of attention to detail had gone into it to make it realistic of the era. The owners are really friendly and can't do enough for you. The food in the restaurant was homemade and gorgeous with large portions. The photos don't do the...

I love it here, it's small and quirky but I love it. It's a very relaxing experience, no traffic, plenty of parking, gorgeous room with a lovely bath. It's an excellent stop over for me but I would come here for a break without doubt. Food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was so much better than a buffet...

Eleven of us enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner here on 11/09/16. Food was excellent, as was the service. They serve the biggest Yorkshire puddings ever and the portions are very generous. Great place and would definitely recommend. My Dads disabled and commented on the cleanliness and quality of the disabled toilets.

Quiet, peaceful location, bedrooms are immaculate (can only vouch for the 'Art Decco' room) and the food is wonderful, plus they still include the price of breakfast in the room tariff, when did it become the norm for this to be an added extra? Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Brilliant place to break your journey. Lots for the kids to see. Lovely gift shop with a very kind lady who offered my two children some pen and paper so that they would sit down an draw her a picture (and eat their dinner)!! Genius and very thoughtful. Super portions of food too.

Celebrated my birthday with an early evening meal. Pleasant surroundings in which you can eat in or out. Meals are fresh to order and excellent. There is a wide choice from snack to evening meals. Well worth a visit.
