We stayed two nights in autumn season. It's an old rustic well preserved typical Catalan building, rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and we found them always clean. Staff are correct and helpful, they could be maybe warmer... but they were always okay with us. Breakfast is generous in quantity, regarding quality it was was nice for some food and a... More

We were given a very warm welcome on arrival. The rooms are all rustic style but very clean and ours was also large with a grand bathroom. The village is a little remote and somewhat hard to find but well worth the effort. We took dinner in their restaurant as we found no other places to eat or drink in... More

We chose this B&B on route to the Pyrenees -the Costa's were way too expensive ( and crowded) for a stopover. I agree with all the previous reviews the lady owner was the most hospitable host we have ever met. The room, food, setting and above all customer service, made this the most pleasant stay of our 4 week journey.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Les Velles Escoles for a whole weekend. For our first night, we were given a room on the top floor of an annex (for lack of a better word) which is accessed from outside, but is attached to the house. At first I liked the room, but soon after the problems started. I noticed... More

We stayed one nite at Les Velles Escoles. We drove here from Reus airport and it was reasonably easy to find. The room we stayed in was very cosy and quaint. The owners don't speak English but are very warm n friendly. The dinner we had was nice too...simple but yummy. The old world charm of the place has been... More

We stayed 2 nights in this B&B located as the name suggests in the old school of the village. A nice house full of characters, nicely renovated, with a nice patio. There is also a living-room with sofas if you prefer to stay inside. The village itself is very tiny and quiet - only 27 inhabitants ! Don't expect any... More

We stayed 2 nights at Les Velles Ecoles - but the place & Cori the owner/ hostess quickly became dear to us. The place is cozy, hiding away in the quiet Les Irles, which is perfect for just sitting back & relaxing. We had dinners both 2 nights & Cori's son cooked simple but really yummy traditional Spanish food. We... More

We took a spontaneous trip from Barcelona to Les Irles on a whim and it was the best decision we made on our whole trip. The hostess was extremely warm and an hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had a good time. We spoke no Spanish but that wasn't an issue and... More

We are just finishing up our 2 night stay here. It has been wonderful! Cori has been an excellent hostess. We found this gem on the internet. We found it difficult to find a place in the Priorat area - they were either expensive or a hostel type. Like any other internet booking you hope for the best - and... More

My husband and I spent two days at Les Velles Ecoles at the beginning of July. It is a restored "Casa Rural" in a small village of about 30 houses, conveniently located off the main highway. I believe there are a total of 8 rooms in the B&B. Only one other room was occupied while we were there. It is... More
