We've just come back from our 5th or 6th visit to El Rancho and all had a fabulous time... again. We can't recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic accommodation, a real taste of Andalusia amongst the beautiful mountains with views to die for. Jacque and Garret are superb hosts and any recommendations for bars or restaurants will be good. With...

To experience the real Spain in wonderful surroundings, El Rancho is absolutely perfect. The accommodation is spacious, clean and extremely quiet and the hosts, Jacque and Garret, are just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they go out of their way make sure everyone has a fantastic holiday. They, together with Norma and Malcolm, were able to give us...

Just got back from a week at El Rancho and came back with new friends. Nestled in beautiful scenery, El Rancho is well placed to explore Andalucia, from swimming in the pure waters of Lake Iznajar to exploring the pueblo blancas, scenic walks and traditional Spanish cuisine. This really is the real Spain. Accommodation is top notch and facilities second...

First time abroad for a family holiday, and couldn't have asked for a better location. Our hosts were fantastic, made us really welcome, and the amenities were just superb. A real family run place, Jacque and Garret were so hospitable, their son Vidal was entertaining, and Norma and Malc (Jacques parents) were a fountain of knowledge. Thoroughly recommend this place,...

We were travelliing with our daughter of one and had a really nice time. We are not easily pleased people, but very positive about Jacque and Garret and the rest of the family. They're very warm people that really make you feel at home. There in for a laugh or a good conversation and are aimed at making your stay...

My daughter and I have just spent a week at El Rancho (June 2016). The two lovely hosts made us feel so much at home. We had many long and interesting conversations around the table, with them and with their other guests. Their care of us extended to lending us several things we had forgotten to bring and indeed lending...

Jacque and Garret are excellent hosts. El Rancho is set in a beautiful location with fabulous views of the mountains. The place is spotless and they provide everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Jacque is an exceptional and natural horse riding teacher. My girls thoroughly enjoyed their lessons which included washing and brushing the horses. There is a lovely...

From the welcome reception courtesy of our hosts dinner party which we unintentionally gatecrashed to the last minute of our holiday I cannot find fault with this beautiful place. The time and effort that Garret and Jaques put into keeping El Rancho as it is shows in everything from the decor to the pool area, to the private spaces -...
