I am not great at switching off from work, normally at least a 3 day wind down. At cloud house farm I was in the happy place before I had emptied my rucksack. Once I found the hammock my wife was concerned I would never move again. No matter where you sit the view is fantastic, either soothing mountain vistas...

We are a family of four, and we stayed for a week at Cloud House Farm in July 2013. We arrived hot and bothered, but had a lovely welcome, including cold lemonades for the children, and cold beers for us. We soon settled in and cooled down, the trip to the river pool down the road helped greatly!. We had...

After four days at Cloudhouse, we were more relaxed than we’d been for a while! Some memories we’ll savour for years to come... until our next visit, at least. Passing the sunny afternoons reading in the hammock, or reclining in a deckchair in the dappled shade of the orange groves, whilst listening to the sounds of nature buzzing, humming and...

We stayed at Cloud Farm for 4 days in July 2012. We have 2 kids (12 and 10) and the thought of no Xbox or on tap Internet access was a concern for them! Within a few hours they chilled out and started to appreciate their surroundings, the amazing views, the peace and quiet, the outdoor kitchen, hammock and very...

Thanks Emma for the comments, well appreciated and we're enjoying reading back over them on this wet and wintery day. We've had 3 days of heavy rain and the little concrete bridge is almost submerged, so different to when you guys were out, lucky we shut shop for the winter months :) Wish you all the very best from the...

After a week spent with family we were in need of some quiet time amidst beautiful surroundings for the remainder of our stay in Andalucia. We dropped everyone else of at Malaga airport and drove on to cloud house farm, we literally could not take the smiles of our faces as we entered the gate. It was quite late when...

BE WARNED! A stay at Cloud House Farm will really change your outlook on life! After a ride up through the mountains (in a Seat Leon), Rob driving, me reading the detailed (very!) directions the pessimist in me said that it was going to be difficult to find, too quiet, boring etc etc.............(and my eldest, very sporty daughter was whingeing...

Thanks Debby & Rob for the brilliant write up, very touching comments :) We're now getting our wellies out dealing with the mud after the second deluge of storms, so very different now to when you guys were out for the summer, lucky we close for the winter!! We had a great holiday at Cloud House Farm in June 2012, staying in the orange grove yurt. It took a while to find but that is reflected in how peaceful and beautiful it is once you do eventually get there! Amazing views and wildlife. The facilities are great- the yurt is spacious with a really comfortable bed! Only thing...

Thanks for the great review Kaz, it was a real pleasure having you both stay with us in the mountains. The orange trees are now busy growing back all their oranges after plenty fresh OJ squeezed through the summer. We're also busy on the guest fridge, being 100% off-grid & eco has its power limitations, but we're pleased to report...

We (myself and my girlfriend) stayed at Cloud House Farm for the middle part of a short tour of Andalucía, and couldn't have loved it more. Dan, Juss, the kids and animals all greeted us very warmly after a fairly lengthy drive through the mountains (the directions Dan and Juss provided were excellent, and much needed, but we fancied a...

We stayed in the woodland yurt for our honeymoon and enjoyed a peaceful few days exploring the local area and reading in the hammock. We found the yurt romantic and comfortable and Juss and Dan were very helpful hosts. The hill views, especially from the private bathroom hut, were wonderful. We appreciated having hired a 4x4 car as the farm...

We spent a relaxed and happy week in the slightly barmy and beautifully balmy setting of Cloud House Farm. It redefines ‘getting away from it all’, in the best possible way, in an eco-friendly environment surrounded by woods and wildlife. Everything is open to the environment. Birds are everywhere, but when we were there in late May, insects were not...
