The Place was located in a perfect spot to relax and climb the big rock walls behind the campsite. the downside was that the tents were not cleaned when we got there and the beds we got to sleep on did not seem very sanitary. great hang out for climbers and for people on a budget! friendly place.

What an amazing place! From the moment I arrived, I was made feel welcome by whoever was about, clients and staff alike. There seems to be an accommodation package to suit all tastes with flexibility of cooking arrangements to suit your budget/aspirations. As a visiting mum of one of the volunteer staff, I opted for one of the private bedrooms,...

It was my 1st trip to El Chorro and I wasn't sure what to expect from the B&B place, the Olive Branch. I was positively suprised to find the most adorable place to stay right at the foot of the famous rocks, the Mecca of all rock climbers. Gary and Mel were the most wonderful hosts, friendly helpful and welcoming....

My boyfriend and I camped at the Olive Branch last week before walking the Caminito del Rey. We were immediately welcomed by Gary and Mel, who kindly showed us around and set up our tent (we used one of theirs for the night, which was very comfortable and inexpensive!) The grounds are set in the hills overlooking countryside and mountains...

I intended to stay 3 weeks and left after 5 (and only because my visa was running out). I love the place - comfortable with decent facilities. An ideal base for climbers and not a dull moment while you are resting. The owners and staff are the nicest bunch ive ever met. If youre so inclined (like i am) theres...

Returned today from a week at the Olive Branch. We had 7 students with 2 teachers climbing and using OB as the base. An absolutely brilliant week that was made by the hospitality of Mel, Gary and the team there. The food was excellent and the chefs really accommodated our needs which included a gluten free student. We camped and...

A lovely nights stay at this relaxed scenic place. We were looked after so well by the friendly hosts Mel and Gary, and enjoyed their chat, cooking and warm hospitality. Stunning views, lovely pool, outside/inside communal areas so comfortable and relaxed. A perfect place for climbers -and for us non-climbers who walked the El Caminito del Rey path.

Amazing place where you feel like if you were home. Really enjoyed our stay at the Olive Branch, Melanie and her family were very kind. Our room (nr4) was very clean with a beautiful view and most important... it was nice and quiet. Everybody lives his life, in a very nice and open space. A pool with a stunning view,...

My friend Oscar and I stayed for three weeks in May. The owners were warm, welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. We stayed in the bunkhouse (unbelievable value for money) and got to meet some incredible people. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Lovely and cosy. The owners are very nice and helpful. Atmosfear with the people staying is lovely. Food was prepared as wished. The kitchen can be used by yourself to cook what you want! How nice! Air condition is a huge noisy machine next to the bed and it dont cool down the room enough.
