we stayed here for a couple of nights in July -- what an incredible find. We opted for full board and we were not disappointed. Quite the opposite - we were blown away with the quality of the farm to table food, the service and the simplicity of it all. Absolutely incredible. Spend your days hiking, lounging by the pool and try some of the wonderful wines from their well-stocked wine cellar. We had several bottles of cava and other wines that went well with the incredible meals. I cannot WAIT to get back to Els Casals.

Else Casals was just perfect. The hotel is only a two star but amazing and perfect. The rooms are nice and big and so is the bathroom. However what truly sets it apart is the food and the people. Oriol Rovira is super nice and really cares that the product they offer is well enjoyed by the guests. The philosophy for the food is from farm to table and it really works. We loved the huge breakfasts, very good wine list and gorgeous food including our 3y old toddler who had Michelin quality pasta :) The hotel is very kid friendly too. Don’t leave without trying the restaurant as it’s amazing. The restaurant was very accommodative of our 3y old. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.

While this is a 2-star hotel, it is really nicely done. It is casual with no reception. Rooms are generous in size, nice windows to open and let in the country air. Baths are great. The philosophy is simple, elegant. The food is crazy good. And not as pricey as you might think for one Michelin star. We had a 14-course lunch for €78. Loved every single dish.

Wonderful stay in a family owned hotel with restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is really delicious. The best place if you want to try catalan cuisine. Most of the food came from local producers or the owner's family farms. The countryside surrounding the hotel is quite and beatiful, and there are fantastic hiking tours.

Just amazing in all aspects! The rooms, the food, the facilities and most of all the service. Can't say enough good things about the warm hospitality, the care taken to each last detail and the focus on pampering guests .
