From the moment we arrived Donna and Geoff could not do enough for us. We were lucky to have the whole site to ourselves and the tents were very luxurious. The kids were asked if they wanted to help move sheep from one area of the site to the other, collect eggs from the chickens and generally got stuck in....

This was our first glamping trip as a family and it was absolutely spot on. The tent was spacious and comfortable and the setting beautiful and tranquil. We slept well, had lovely breakfasts brought to us each morning, really good cooking and shower/loo facilities, great options for days out (even when it rained), found some nice, friendly restaurants, fed the...

We LOVED our time staying at Les Etangs. The tents themselves have everything in you need - the beds are lovely and comfortable (and dressing gowns are laid out on the bed), you have cooking facilities, sink and your own compost toilet and shower (as well as the main bathroom for use at the main kitchen block). They are far...

This small glamping site is the perfect choice for those looking to camp under the stars but with serious added luxury in a wonderfully private and rural setting. Our lodge tent was huge, the beds extremely comfortable and the included breakfasts not only substantial and delicious but a real treat too (for a Mum with small children!). This was our...

What a wonderful welcome we had and a great holiday. Bed and huge breakfast in a fancy tent with a couple of ducks quacking past. On arrival there is a welcome pack so no bother in thinking about the first meal. The tent was perfect, the bed was better than our home bed! The cooking facilities were just right and...

We have enjoyed a lovely stay at the lodge of the owners Donna & Geoff in the Berry. The lodges are very comfortable and there is a lot of privacy. The rural setting in the heart of France makes it unique camping site. The site is also fine for children who can help Donna and Geoff with the animals. We...

My son and I have just come back from a weeks glamping at Les Etangs, what a find. This was our first experience of glamping and Geoff and Donna were the perfect hosts. Never intrusive but always there if you needed them. The campsite itself is spacious and none of the tents overlook each other. Views are amazing across the...

We stumbled upon Les Etangs as a stopover between Toulouse & Paris. It turned out to be the find of the year! The friendly, welcoming service from hosts Geoff & Donna went far above our expectations. Our two young children were constantly excited by the play area, the feeding of the baby lambs, and getting to collect the eggs for...

Our first Glamping experience, and it couldn't have been better. Donna and Geoff were the perfect hosts and we literally wanted for nothing. It was such a brilliant location for kids and adults alike. We would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday to anyone and would love to return for another visit,

Our hosts were Geoff and Donna; they were the epitome of the perfect hosts. We were greeted on arrival with beer and nibbles, and our friendship developed quickly. Our welcome pack was perfect for our first meal after a very long drive, and Geoff and Donna made sure our breakfasts met all our requirements: coffee, croissant, eggs, ham, cereal... The...

“Just a couple of tips: We stayed in the tent without it's own kitchen/toilet but the block was nearby. Not having the kitchen area wasn't really an issue, but the toilet wasn't ideal during the night with the kids. That said, we had very easy access to the washing machine and fridge. I know the idea is to switch off, but I personally could have done with Wi-Fi reaching the tent. Mostly because I wanted to research places to go etc, easily fixed and maybe not even an issue for most. When staying in the tents, it's a good idea to put towels up in the windows to keep out the rising sun. Easily done as everything is there.”
