A lovely family run campsite where customer satisfaction comes before profit - make sure you attend one of the communal meals - it was like a night at the united nations - Fantastic - tried the canoeing down the Loire, absolutely brilliant - will definitely be going back - small, rural, no clubhouse - utopia

Whilst visiting a friend renovating a Dutch barge on the canal at Gannay Sur Loire we stayed for B&B at the Domaine du Bourg. Not the easiest place to find but well worth it when you do, Peter and Trudi provide a great welcome and a totally relaxed atmosphere. We were out most of the day with our friends but...

A lovely friendly bed and breakfast that also has a gite and camping facilities available. There is a kitchen available for use by the guests, but there is also the option of having a meal cooked for you if you ask the owner in advance. We did not know exactly what time we would arrive so unfortunately we missed out...

We stayed for a week at the end of July and this was our first venture abroad on a family camping holiday. We had the most wonderful time, the campsite is fantastic and has brilliant facilities for children on site where they can play safely and enjoy each other's company. We hired bikes, went kayaking, enjoyed a delicious meal with...

Really lovely family site. Pick here to pitch either under the trees or not. No vehicles except for initial drop off and final collection, a nice playground and swimming pool make it ideal for children. Local village with good bakery and butcher only 5 minutes walk away makes life easy. Just a fantastic relaxed time. We hope to visit again.

We stayed in one of their safari tents. Very spacious and had everything you need for camping. It's a great rural site. Very friendly team and a great atmosphere around the site. Toilets etc all very clean. We dined in for a couple of evenings which was good basic food and gave you the chance to meet and chat with...

The site itself was OK, toilets needed a little work and definitely needed toilet paper!! Nice family orientated site with a small play area for kids, there is a small pool, but what was at the bottom I couldn't say?it was so dirty and murky I wouldn't let my son in it!! From the campsite you can kayak very cheaply...

We chose this as a point to stop on a motor biking tour of France. Just a bit too rustic for us. Nice welcome but on a rainy day there was no offer of coffee etc after a long motorbike journey. No tea/coffee in the room but the room was comfortable enough. There was little or nothing in the village...

A rustic style rural 'Chambre d'hote' (guest house) run by a friendly Dutch family, (English spoken). Quiet location within a few mins walk of typical calm French village. The room was spacious, clean and warm and there's a lovely living/dining/cooking room for use of guests. Free wi-fi connection but no TV, (we didn't need one). Meals are available on some...
