Stayed here for two nights while visiting Alton towers. We were greeted with friendly staff who promptly checked us in. We ate in restaurant the first night and all of the group enjoyed their meals and very reasonably priced. Before going to Alton towers we enjoyed breakfast which again was well priced and filled us up before our long day....

Disgusting service from this hotel! Called on the morning to cancel my booking as have a poorly child at home and unfortunately had to cancel our trip. My daughter has a severe case of chicken pox which I assume would not be wanted at his hotel to pass onto all of his guests. I fully expected to lose my deposit,...

We travelled to the cross inn late on the Friday evening. When we arrived it was a very friendly atmosphere. We stayed in a caravan/mobile home which was amazing. Everything you needed inside. Breakfast was lovely and just a shame we never managed to get an evening meal as fully booked. Would highly recommend if travelling up long distance to...

Booked this room for me and my son as a pitstop for our 2 day visit to Alton Towers. After searching online, this place seemed to tick all the boxes, good review score, close proximity to the theme park and a reasonable price. HOWEVER....... when we arrived, we were shown to our room which had a damp musty smell as...

Visited for a single night after a day at Alton Towers. Quite close to the park (when driving) so very useful. We stayed in a double room which was pretty small and basic but met our needs. The bed was comfy enough and we had a shower, tea making facilities. The best element of the hotel is the bar/restaurant. Really...

The hotel was run by very friendly staff who met all our needs. The room was basic, but clean. The towels were fine, there were coffee making facilities and a small wardrobe space. We arrived just after the kitchen had closed for evening meals, but the staff were able to prepare a lovely pizza shortly afterwards so issue here. Breakfast...

Pitches on caravan park & camping field need upgrading, shower & toilet blocks left a lot to be desired, desperately need an upgrade too,the floor was wet all of the time in both. ? Leaky pipes. Considering it cost £27 per night expected more. No wifi as advertised, only in the bar area, which wasn't very good. On the bright...

Was meant to be staying here two nights but after one night we left more then willing to lose the money paid for the second night. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is alright and reasonable in price and that's about all the good I could say about the place. We were shown our room on arrival...

We glamped at Ruehill campsite close by and ate dinner here the first night. The food is really tasty, cheap and the staff are so nice and helpful. We ended up eating breakfast here both mornings and it really cannot fault it. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be back and may be even stay at...
