Cheap , no thrills, bed, bath, shabby but clean. If you are looking for a place to impress - this is not it . However if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head , nearby shops and takeaways, between stops and under £30.00 then it will do.

Aparently trip advisor does not believe how bad this place was. If you have a choice of staying here or sleeping on a park bench. Take the bench. Room disgustingly dirty. Beer lines in dire need of a clean. Daytime receptionist in dire need of customer service training. Floor boards that keep you up all night. Matress so old the...

The rooms are fairly ok for £25 a night but the walls are literally so thin you could have a conversation with the person in the next room without raising your voice. So did not get any sleep because of the budding rapper who was in the next room. When he stopped somebody else started coughing the whole night so...

We had to change rooms because there was no heat & no lights. Windows didn't shut in the new rooms. No chef so no food available. Night porter took 20 mins to let us in one night. Hotel is very tired.

Lovely Building and yes you may find some creaky flooring but what do you expect for £20! Personally I would love to see this building completely refurbished inside making it a bit more modern it would be massively popular even if they put a extra £20 on current prices because it is a lovely old building just needs some TLC...

This so called hotel is not fit for humans! The place was disgusting full of dampness with wallpaper falling of the wall, frightening floorboards which moved a lot when walked on, dirt everywhere, roasting hot water coming out of both taps, no cold water dirty bathroom, unsafe windows at dangerous heights opening like a door in what they describe as...

Absolutely terrible experience. Showers wouldn't function correctly in either of our rooms (leaking pipes, bath seal problems, etc), so couldn't take a shower. Bedding was dirty and stained. Some type of nails were left on the floor (toe or finger nails by the looks of it). Also had a window broken which caused injury. After taking this complaint to a...

We found maggot type grubs on the bed and promptly left. The hotel then refused to refund us the total booking (two rooms) and only refunded the one room after we chased them for a week. Three weeks later they refuse to refund, avoid calls and blame booking.com for not being able to refund us. The apartment room in question...
