Stayed here while working and found it welcoming and good value. Owners provide a microwave so you can do your own evening meal & not rely on takeaways. Breakfasts are good. Always got asked if I wanted some more, it's not the ritz, but it doesn't charge ritz prices, if your a tradesman working away around stoke you won't find...

If you are looking for a brilliant location, look away now. If you just need a warm clean room of sensible size with the usual amenities for a good price, then this could be for you. Throw in the warm welcome, friendly service and individually cooked breakfasts provided by the owners, the Victoria becomes hard to beat. I've given the...

Our visit here was a lovely experience which was unexpected as we were on route... and just there for one night. The rooms were clean and smoke free. There was a car park that kept our car out of site. Showers and facilities were well maintained. Mandy and Mick offered insight into local eating venues. We settled for a local...

Stayed with a friend four nights late September and really enjoyed it. Had Room 7 to myself - lovely bright and clean spacious room with modern ensuite shower room and tea and coffee making facilities. Simply but nicely furnished and big very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Could not believe the price. Hosts Mandy and Mick, very friendly...

It's been a while since our last visit but we had a very warm welcome Back from Mick and Mandy, the Victoria feels like home from home for my wife and myself. And just as good as we remembered warm, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable a great nights sleep and a great breakfast with lots of choice. It's always a...

I have spent 4 nights in Victoria Guest House and I would recommend this place for sure. My bedroom was clean, well furnished and fully equiped: TV, fridge, etc. I felt like in my own home. The owners are quite kind always. Great experience!

A pretty standard B&B located in a former pub. All the usual resources - TV, tea and coffee making, good English breakfast, but made special by being run by a really nice couple. They are very involved in craft projects and canal boats. The building is a little cramped, but fine. The area is a little run down, but do...

I stayed for one night, choosing the Victoria for its proximity to the Trent and Mersey canal, which I had been hiking along. My room on the first floor was clean and functional. The ensuite bathroom likewise though a little small. Breakfast was excellent. This is a warm and friendly place to stay, and very good value for money.

In the absence of Mick and Mandy we were greeted on arrival by Mandy's mom who showed us to our spacious double room with en suite facilities. The establishment is spotless throughout and we enjoyed a splendid full English breakfast the next morning. The room price of £55 is good value and I would book here in the future.
